Ngayong buwan ng Agosto, kaisa ang Pambansang Aklatan ng Pilipinas (NLP) sa pagtataguyod at pagpapayaman ng ating wikang pambansa, alinsunod sa temang: “𝙒𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙄: 𝙆𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙠𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙨𝙞𝙠 𝙖𝙩 𝙏𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙨𝙖 𝙔𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣.”

Bilang kaban ng karunungan ng bansa, patuloy na magiging katuwang ang sa pagpapalaganap ng Wikang Filipino sa pamamagitan ng ating mga koleksyon at makabagong serbisyo. Hangad namin na sa bawat aklat at babasahing inyong bubuklatin dito sa aklatan, ay higit pang mapayaman ang inyong kaisipan at mapag-alab ang pagmamahal sa ating sariling wika.

Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino has launched KWF Diksi, a FREE dictionary app. It offers a comprehensive database of Filipino words, definitions, and usage notes, based on KWF’s authoritative language resources.

The app provides:
• Quick search functions for Filipino words and meanings.
• Offline access, ensuring usability even without internet connection.
• Educational support for students, teachers, writers, and language enthusiasts
