WALA PANG NATIONAL ID CARD? DIGITAL COPY MUNA - PSA

Sa mga hindi pa nakatatanggap ng kanilang National ID card, inanunsyo ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) na pwede ng i-download at pansamantalang magamit ang digital version ng inyong ID.

“This is to inform the public and all relying parties of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) on the use and acceptance of the various formats of the PhilSys digital ID, including the printed ePhilID (electronic Philippine ID), as a valid and sufficient proof of identity and age, subject to authentication,” pahayag ng PSA sa abiso nito sa website ng ahensya nitong Miyerkules, Oktubre 5.

Ayon sa ahensya, ang PhilSys digital ID ay maaari ng magamit sa mga transaksyon alinsunod sa sinasabi ng Section 7 (c) (1) ng Republic Act (RA) 11055, o ang Philippine Identification System Act of 2018.

Ayon sa PSA, sinumang rehistrado na at mayroon ng PhilSys Number (PSN) ay maaaring makapag-download ng kanilang ePhilID.

“They can claim their ePhilID subject to its availability, by setting an online appointment, and presenting their transaction slip to their selected PhilSys Registration Centers on the reserved date,” pagtiyak ng PSA.

Bukod sa PhilSys Card Number (PCN), ang ePhilID ay naglalaman ng mga basic demographic information ng indibidwal at kaukulang QR Code at picture. Mayroon din itong public-private key cryptography bilang pagtiyak na ang QR code ay hindi mapepeke. Maaaring i-authenticate ang printed ePhilID sa pamamagitan ng pag-scan ng QR code gamit ang PhilSys Check - verify.philsys.gov.ph/QrScan/.

“If the ePhilID is authentic, the PhilSys Check will display a successful verification message and should match the demographic information found in the printed, as well as a front-facing photo of the person,” paliwanag ng PSA.

Ayon sa PSA, ang printed ePhilID ay marapat kilalanin at tanggapin bilang opisyal na government-issued identification document ng isang Pilipino sa mga transaksyon nito sa iba’t ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan, local government units, government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), government financial institutions (GFIs), financial institutions, at private sector.

“Any person or entity who, without just and sufficient cause, proved to have refused to accept, acknowledge, and/or recognize the printed ePhilID as the only official identification of the holder/possessor thereof shall be penalized in accordance with Section 19 of RA No. 11055,” pagtatapos ng abiso. - mnp

Para matiyak ang kaligtasan ng iyong impormasyon, pinapaalalahanan ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) ang publiko na ingatang mabuti ang PhilSys Number (PSN) letter na kalakip ng bawat PhilID na idine-deliver.

Ang PSN Letter ay naglalaman ng iyong PSN, ang iyong 12-digit na permanenteng identification number. Ito ay randomly-generated at unique para sa bawat registrant. Iwasan ang pagbabahagi nito sa ibang tao at pagpo-post nito sa social media.

Ang PhilSys Check ay ginagamit sa pag-verify ng authenticity ng PhilID. Ginagawa ito sa pamamagitan ng pag-access sa verify.philsys.gov.ph at pag-scan sa QR code na nasa likod ng PhilID.

Ito ay magagamit para lamang sa PhilID at hindi sa transaction slip.

Inilunsad kamakailan ng PSA ang PhilSys Check o authentication system para sa PhilID. Sa pamamagitan ng naturang sistema, matutulungan nito ang mga establisyemento na mapabilis ang authentication process sa bawat transaksyon ng PhilID cardholder.

Ang system ay kasalukuyang available sa android smartphone devices at laptop o desktop na may Windows 11 o MacOs High Sierra. Pumunta lamang sa verify.philsys.gov.ph

Para kay Liza Narag, malaking tulong sa pagpapabilis ng mga transaksyon ang pagkakaroon ng PhilID. Nagamit niya ang PhilID sa pagproseso ng civil registry documents tulad ng death certificate ng kanyang ama at birth certificate ng kanyang anak, pati na rin sa mga transaksyon sa bangko.

BAKIT MAHALAGA ANG PSN AT PCN AT PANGANGALAGA NG MGA ITO?

Ang PhilSys Number (PSN) ay ang 12-digit na unique at permanenteng identification ng isang registrant sa PhilSys - ang PSN ay natatangi at walang kapareha.

Ang PCN naman ay ang 16-digit na serial number na nakalagay sa harap ng PhilID card. Bilang public version ng PSN, ito ang pinapakita sa mga transaksyon gaya ng pagbubukas ng bank account, o pag-avail ng assistance mula sa pamahalaan at mga serbisyo mula sa pribadong sektor.

Parehong dapat ingatan ang PCN at PSN para maiwasan ang hindi awtarisadong paggamit nito. Iwasan ang pagbabahagi at pagpo-post ng mga ito sa social media.
