The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office I formalized its partnership with the Water of Life Worldwide Mission Inc. through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and officially recognizes as an accredited religious service provider.

A Certificate of Accreditation and official identification cards were awarded, representing trust, commitment, and a shared mission in providing meaningful spiritual services to persons deprived of liberty (PDL).

Together, we can build bridges of hope, transformation, and second chances.

JSSUPT ANDREW W. TAULI, TLPE, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, spearheaded the Regional Management Conference held at the BJMPRO-I Multipurpose Hall, Camp BGen. Oscar M. Florendo, Parian, City of San Fernando, La Union.

The activity was attended by the division and section heads of the Regional Office, Provincial Administrators, and Jail Wardens through a blended setup.

“Gulay at Malasakit: A Vegetable Donation Initiative for PDL Welfare and Upland Farmer Support”

JSINSP JOSEPHINE FE D. DAEN, Acting Chief of the Regional Welfare and Development Division (RWDD), spearheaded a vegetable donation initiative benefiting jail units in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and La Union on May 19, 20, and 21.

A total of 200 kilos of cabbage was distributed through the support of the Rotary Club, Inner Wheel Club. The initiative not only provided fresh vegetables for PDLs but also helped upland farmers market their produce and minimize losses. Distribution was facilitated by RWDD personnel.

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office I participated in the coastal clean-up drive, initiated by the City Environment and Natural Resources Office of San Fernando City, La Union.
