Brigada Eskwela 2026: PhilHealth YAKAP Caravan at Dolores Integrated School

June 1, 2026: The Schools Division Office (SDO) City of San Fernando, Pampanga proudly partnered with PhilHealth Region III and PhilHealth LHIO San Fernando in bringing the YAKAP Caravan to our community, with Dolores Integrated School serving as the host school for this year’s Brigada Eskwela.

This meaningful caravan was made possible through the strong collaboration of our partners:
Rural Health Unit 1
Systems Plus College Foundation – San Fernando
Integrated Philippine Association of Optometrists, Inc. (IPAOI)

Learners, parents, and community members received vital services including registration, medical and dental check-ups, vision screening, and vital signs assessment — all reflecting our shared commitment to health, education, and community care.

This event truly embodies our theme: “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa kaayusan at kaalaman.”

The highlights captured in these photos showcase the spirit of bayanihan — schools, health professionals, and partner institutions working hand in hand to nurture lives and strengthen communities.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to PhilHealth Region III & Philhealth LHIO San Fernando, our dedicated partners, and all volunteers whose commitment made this caravan a resounding success. Brigada Eskwela is not only about preparing classrooms, but also about celebrating unity, wellness, and knowledge for every Filipino family.

The SDO CSFP- Health and Nutrition Unit expresses its unwavering support for the 2026 Celebration of National No Smoking Month and World No To***co Day, anchored on the theme, “Unmasking the Appeal: Exposing Industry Tactics on To***co and Ni****ne Products.” This initiative highlights the urgent need to raise awareness about the harmful effects of to***co and ni****ne use, as well as the deliberate strategies employed by industries to make these products appear attractive, particularly to the youth. By bringing these tactics to light, the Department aims to strengthen prevention efforts and promote informed, health-conscious decision-making among learners and the wider community.

In line with this commitment, the Department calls on educators, school leaders, parents, and stakeholders to actively support and participate in advocacy efforts that foster healthy, smoke-free environments. Through sustained education, collaboration, and policy support, the Department seeks to empower learners with the knowledge and resilience needed to resist misleading influences and adopt healthier lifestyles. Together, we reaffirm our shared responsibility to protect the well-being of every learner and to advance a future free from the harmful effects of to***co and ni****ne use.
