As per SK Advisory No. 2026-P003, the Sangguniang Kabataan Council is mandated by the National Youth Commission and the law to encode and submit monitoring and evaluation reports last fiscal year 2025.
Deadline of encoding will be until March 31, 2026 and was extended to April 10, 2026.

NOTICE OF POSTPONEMENT!

The LYDO - SCC regrets to inform all the registered participants of the Mangga-Wayan Race: Color Fun Run to be supposedly held on April 13, 2026.

The decision was made by the Executive Committee of City Fiesta, with the recommendations of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and our City Mayor Julier C. Resuello, in support and compliance to the released directives of the National Government under Executive Order No. 110, s.2026 and Memorandum Circular No. 114 ( Series of 2026) placing the country under State of National Energy Emergency due to the emerging conflicts in the Middle East.

The resumption of the event will be on the 2nd week of August, 2026 in line with the celebration of "Linggo ng Kabataan 2026", subject to changes, hoping and praying that the situation will de-escalate prior to the resumption schedule.

However, those registered participants who wanted to withdraw their registration will be entertained, P200.00 will be refunded together with their accomplished Dri-fit Funrun shirts. Releasing of refunds and shirts for those who would withdrawn their registration will be from April 13-16, 2026.

26TH SK FEDERATION MEETING

The SK Federation members gathered for its 26th Monthly Meeting to discuss vital matters concerning the programs for the youth of San Carlos City. Here are the key takeaways from our agenda:
* ​It has been decided by the City Vice Mayor Joseres Resuello regarding the postponement of the Mayor’s Cup 2026 (Inter-District Basketball & Volleyball) and other local sports activities (Liga).
* Collection of the SK Federation Dues for 2026 and the encoding of Monitoring and Evaluation Form No.1 via the SK Web Portal to ensure our performance remains on track.
* Discussions regarding the SK Honorarium distribution subsidized by the LGU are underway.
* Other discussions akin to the compliance on the Executive Order No. 110, S.2026 by the SK Council comprising the cancellation/postponement of big/grandious events.
* Planned postponement of the Mangga-Wayan Race 2026 awaiting for the Legislative+Executive Decision on the conduct of City Fiesta.

The LYDO-SCC will work hand in hand with the SK Council to ensure compliance with the National government mandates.
