The activity raised awareness on the Unified 911 Emergency Hotline, dangers of illegal drugs, crime prevention, anti-rape, anti-physical injury, and public safety tips. It also urged the public to stay vigilant and report suspicious activity immediately.

DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION REGARDING 911 EMERGENCY HOTLINE

At about 11:21 AM of September 7, 2026, personnel of the 2nd Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion β€” Negros Island Region (RMFB–NIR), under the direct supervision of PCPT JOHN PAUL C. FRANCISCO, OIC, joined and participated in the regular session of Barangay Quezon, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental. During the session, the team disseminated information and explained the SAFE NIR Program and the Unified 911 Emergency Hotline, focusing on how to properly use the hotline, what details to provide when calling, and when to use it for emergencies requiring immediate police, fire, or medical assistance. They also clarified when not to call 911 to prevent misuse and ensure the hotline remains available for actual urgent cases. The activity aimed to ensure barangay officials fully understand the proper use of the emergency hotline, encourage immediate reporting of crimes and emergencies, and strengthen police–barangay partnership in maintaining peace and order.

In support of the SAFE NIR Program, personnel of the 2nd Maneuver Company, RMFB–NIR, led by PLT JOVIC JOHN B LATUMBO under the supervision of PCPT JOHN PAUL C FRANCISCO, OIC, conducted house-to-house visitation at Barangay Quezon, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

We promoted the SAFE NIR Program and Dial 911 emergency hotline, raised awareness on anti-terrorism, anti-illegal drugs, and crime prevention, and listened to the concerns and feedback of residents.
