SK FEDERATION OUTREACH PROGRAM | SCHOOL SUPPLIES DISTRIBUTION

Extending support. Empowering learners. Investing in the future.

Yesterday, August 30, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of San Carlos City, in collaboration with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Juan, successfully conducted an Outreach Program and School Supplies Distribution at the Barangay San Juan Covered Court.

A total of 100 high school and senior high school students were reached and provided with essential school supplies to help support their educational journey.

More than the school supplies, this initiative carries a simple yet meaningful message: every young person deserves the opportunity, resources, and encouragement to pursue education and reach their fullest potential.

Through programs like this, the SK Federation continues to champion youth welfare, inclusive service, and meaningful community engagement, proving that when young leaders come together with a shared purpose, service becomes more than an obligation; it becomes an investment in the future.

To our 100 beneficiaries, the SK Barangay San Juan, volunteers, partners, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible, thank you.

We do not simply give supplies; we give young people one more reason to keep going.

SK FEDERATION MIXED VOLLEYBALL UNITY CUP 2026

Four Clusters. One Federation. One Spirit of Unity.

The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of San Carlos City successfully concluded the SK Federation Mixed Volleyball Unity Cup 2026 on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Barangay 4 Covered Court.

The Unity Cup brought together Sangguniang Kabataan officials from various barangays of San Carlos City, transforming the court into more than a venue for competition—it became a platform for strengthening camaraderie, teamwork, sportsmanship, and solidarity among youth leaders.

Following a series of competitive and closely contested matches, Cluster 2 (Blue) established an unbeaten record of 3–0, Cluster 1 (Black) followed with a 2–1 record, while Cluster 3 (Red) finished at 1–2. Cluster 4 (White) completed the standings with a 0–3 record.

The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of San Carlos City continues to bring opportunities closer to our young people as we visited our upland communities to conduct the turnover of sports equipment intended to support various recreational and sports activities among students.

This initiative benefited Our Lady of Peace Mission School, Inc. (OLPMS) and Our Lady of the Mountain Mission School, Inc. (OLMMS), providing students with additional resources to stay active, develop their skills, build teamwork, and enjoy meaningful activities beyond the classroom.

The initiative is part of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration, highlighting our commitment to ensuring that every young San Carloseño whether in the city center or in our upland communities has opportunities to participate, grow, and thrive.

We are especially grateful to Rev. Fr. Angelo Sarita, School Director of OLMMS, for personally expressing his appreciation to the SK Federation for its continuous partnership and support for the schools and their students. Your partnership inspires us to continue bringing programs that create meaningful impact in the lives of our youth.

To the administrators, teachers, students, and everyone who welcomed us, thank you for allowing us to be part of your community. Because when we invest in sports, we invest not only in stronger bodies, but in discipline, friendship, confidence, leadership, and the dreams of our young people.

SK FEDERATION OF SAN CARLOS CITY | OUTREACH PROGRAM 2026

Earlier this morning, the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of San Carlos City brought the spirit of service and youth leadership to the community of Barangay Punao through an Outreach Program held at the Punao Child Development Center, in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.

The activity commenced with a meaningful short program, highlighted by messages from SK Federation President Hon. Marydawn Cañetan and SK Provincial President and Board Member Hon. Mayveline Madrid, inspiring everyone to embrace the values of compassion, service, and active youth participation.

As part of the program, Barangay Punao Midwife Mrs. Edisa Dioliste conducted a brief and informative orientation for parents on Measles and Rubella, emphasizing the importance of awareness, prevention, and protecting the health of every child.

The morning was made even more memorable through fun-filled parlor games for the preschoolers and their parents. The children enjoyed treats as prizes, while winning parents received cash prizes—turning the activity into a celebration filled with laughter, joy, and meaningful community connection.

The SK Federation of San Carlos City also formally turned over toys to the Punao Child Development Center, received on behalf of the center by Child Development Worker Mrs. Elizabeth Abadies. This simple gesture reflects the Federation’s commitment to creating a nurturing, engaging, and child-friendly learning environment.

The program concluded with the presentation of a Certificate of Appreciation by the SK Chairperson of Barangay Punao to the SK Federation of San Carlos City, in grateful recognition of its meaningful contribution and dedication to community service.

More than an outreach, today’s activity was a reminder that youth leadership is at its best when it reaches the community, touches young lives, and creates meaningful moments of service.
