The Third Platoon (San Carlos Vamos Platoon), Alpha Coy, 605th RRIBN under the supervision of Col. Don L. Villanueva GSC (INF) PA, Director of Community Defense Center, 6 RCDG with 1Lt. Honey Boy Guc-ong PA(Res) Company Commander and 1Lt. Jose Aris B. Yap, PA(Res) Executive Officer actively participated in the training for 60 and 81 mm mortar gunnery, M60 machine gun, K3 Semi Automatic Weapon(SAW) and Harris Radio Operation at Headquarters Charlie Company, 79th IB, 3RD ID, PA, Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City May 25, 2025.

This activity aims to improve participants
proficiency with fi****ms, enhance their shooting accuracy and familiarize them with weapons handling. It is part of the continuing and sustainment training for soldiers to maintain combat readiness and discipline.

On November 16, 2024 the Third Platoon (San Carlos Vamos Platoon), Alpha Coy, 605th RRIBN, actively participated the Familiarization Firing/Marksmanship Training, at Brgy. La Granja, La Carlota City.

This activity aims to improve participants
proficiency with fi****ms, enhance their shooting accuracy, and familiarize them with weapon handling. It is likely part of ongoing training for soldiers to maintain combat readiness and discipline.

"EVERY BLOOD DONOR IS A HERO"

MAJOR NELL VEN T MAYBANTING (OS) PA, Director 605CDC, sent volunteer reservists from the 605th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion with Sgt Rico Jun M Alonsabe (MS) PA to Ayala Malls Capitol, Bacolod City as blood donors in the Bloodletting Activity led by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of GMA Network, Regional TV in coordination with the Philippine Red Cross-Bacolod Chapter where 5,400cc of assorted blood types were obtained from them on February 10, 2023.

Also 4th Platoon of Alpha Company, (San Carlos Vamos platoon) 605RRIBn sent 3 Reservist to participate in the said activity.

The 3rd(Vamos)Platoon Alpha Company 605th RRIBn Led by Major Nell Ven T Maybanting (OS) PA, 605TH Community Defense Center Director visited San Carlos City Mayor Hon. Renato Y. Gustilo together with Major Lerma Cantero PA (Res), 1Lt Honey Boy T Goc-ong PA (Res), Company Commander, 1Lt Jose Aris B Yap PA (Res), Executive Officer, 2LT Rodaliza Desoyo PA (Res), Platoon Leader and some Non-Commissioned Officers to formally inform the Mayor of the presence of the Philippine Army Reservists in the city who are ready to provide humanitarian assistance in times of calamities and disasters.

Meanwhile the said platoon also visited City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Joe Recalex Alingasa Jr. to also inform him of the presence and availability of the 3rd Platoon which can be utilized to support CDRRMO in the conduct of humanitarian assistance and disaster response.
