𝙊𝙉 𝘿𝙐𝙏𝙔 || The 123rd Naval Service Support Squadron Reserve actively participated in the On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program in support of the AFP Reserve Force Strategy 2023–2028, aimed at enhancing reservists’ capability in guard and sentinel duties within the Naval Station Leovigildo Gantioqui (NSLG).

This concept by the NRcen Northern Luzon (NRCen-NL) is anchored on Republic Act No, 7077 (Citizen Armed Forces of the Philippines Reservist Act) through practical exposure and hands-on experience of reservists with their active counterparts.
Participating reservists were provided opportunities to further develop their skills and understanding of military procedures, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Reserve Force as reliable force multipliers.

Notably, the conduct of the program coincided with the implementation of Exercise Balikatan, allowing reservists to witness and appreciate large-scale military interoperability, operational coordination, and joint training activities within the operational environment.

The participation of the 123rd NSSSR underscores its continuing commitment in sustaining a professional, mission-ready, and capable Naval Reserve Force.

𝙇𝘼𝘽𝙊𝙍 𝘿𝘼𝙔 || The 123rd Naval Service Support Squadron Reserve personnel were in action during Balikatan Exercises 41-26 due to a wild grassfire, demonstrating swift response and coordinated teamwork in controlling a grass fire.

This Labor Day, we honor the unwavering dedication, resilience, and sacrifice of our uniformed personnel and all Filipino workers who continue to serve the nation in times of need. Through unity and commitment, they stand on the frontlines—protecting communities, preserving lives, and ensuring public safety.

The activity reflects a unified commitment to enhance the unit’s administrative and operational environment, contributing to improved efficiency, functionality, and overall readiness of personnel.

LOOK || The 123rd Naval Service Support Squadron Reserve participated in conducting of public safety assistance operations in support of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Felipe from 01 to 04 April 2026.

The activity aimed to augment local authorities in ensuring the safety, security, and orderly conduct of activities within the area of responsibility. Deployed personnel provided assistance in maintaining public order, supporting crowd management, and reinforcing the overall security framework in coordination with other agencies.

This initiative highlights the vital role of 123rd Naval Service Support Squadron Reserve as force multipliers in support of community-based operations and underscores their readiness to respond to the needs of the public whenever called upon.

𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙈𝘼𝙉𝘿𝙀𝙍’𝙎 𝙑𝙄𝙎𝙄𝙏 || The Naval Reserve Center - Northern Luzon under CAPT GLYN PAHILANGA PN(GSC) conducted a Commander’s Visit to the 123rd Naval Service Support Squadron Reserve (123rd NSSSR) and the 12th Marine Brigade Reserve (12th MBdeR) on 12 APRIL 2026 at Naval Station Leovigildo Gantioqui, San Antonio, Zambales.

The activity was highlighted by the arrival of CAPT GLYN PAHILANGA PN(GSC), followed by an invocation and welcome remarks prior to the conduct of the Commander’s Call.

During the engagement, key directives and guidance were imparted focusing on the strategic objectives of the Commander of NRCen-NL, particularly on strengthening coordination with partner units, enhancing reservist training programs, and improving administrative and logistical support for reserve personnel.

Discussions likewise emphasized the importance of capability development, to include participation in various trainings, structured on-the-job training opportunities, and initiatives geared towards improving operational readiness and responsiveness of reservists. Matters concerning personnel welfare, recognition, and career progression were also highlighted, including promotion opportunities, and commendations for exemplary service.

Furthermore, units were encouraged to maintain regular assembly and accountability, remain responsive to augmentation requirements in support of national and local operations, and actively participate in upcoming activities and exercises.

The activity concluded on reinforcing the commitment of the 123rd NSSSR and 12th MBdeR in sustaining a disciplined, mission-ready, and capable Naval Reserve Force in support of the Philippine Navy and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The courtesy call aimed to further strengthen coordination and partnership between the 123rd NSSSR and NIF-Zambales in support of the Philippine Navy’s mission.

During the meeting, both Commanding Officers discussed matters of mutual concern, focusing on enhancing operational support, improving base security and environmental initiatives, and augmentation of reservists as force multipliers.

Additionally, both units expressed their commitment to conduct joint capability development trainings to ensure the readiness and effectiveness of personnel who may be tasked to support future operations.

The activity concluded with a familiarization tour within the base, providing insight into key operational areas and ongoing activities.

This engagement underscores the continued dedication of the 123rd NSSSR and NIF-Zambales in fostering strong collaboration, enhancing interoperability, and sustaining a ready, reliable, and capable Naval Reserve Force.
