​Sari-saring mahahalagang paksa ang tinutukan ng ating mga kabataang lider upang mas mapalawak ang kanilang kaalaman—mula sa Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 sa pangunguna ni Atty. Yvette Dawn P. Gianan, ang Philippine Youth Development Framework ni Mr. Mark Anthony B. Gianan, MPA, hanggang sa pagtatanghal ng natatanging galing ng bawat barangay sa pamamagitan ng Role Tourism Adventure ni G. Sherwin M. De La Cruz, LPT.

​Hindi rin nagpahuli ang malalimang talakayan at paggabay sa pamamagitan ng "Ang Kwento Ko" Navigating Through Life's Hardships, kasama ang pagproseso ni Hon. Rodil Bongon, Barangay Kagawad ng Cabcab, San Andres, at ang sesyon ukol sa Philippine DRRM Framework sa pangunguna ni G. Jeremy Zigmundo R. Manlagnit, MPA.

​Matapos ang mga makabuluhang lektura, ibinuhos naman ng ating mga kalahok ang kanilang enerhiya at pagkakaisa sa ating pang-huling teambuilding activities na pinangunahan ng ating MDRRMO San Andres. Tunay ngang naging masigla at puno ng aral ang aktibidad na ito para sa ating mga kabataan.

​Nagwakas ang araw sa ating Closing Program at pormal na paggawad ng mga sertipiko sa pangunguna ng ating Training Management Head at MYDO Head, Mr. Mark Anthony B. Gianan, MPA, kabilang ang ating masisipag na facilitators at ang emcee na si Japh Dominic Bendal!

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT | SK BELMONTE

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Belmonte would like to announce the resignation of Mr. Vincent B. Briones, our SK Treasurer.

We sincerely thank Mr. Briones for his service and contribution to the SK Council. His decision to resign was brought about by the demands of his work and his inability to continue giving the time and commitment required by the position. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

With the resignation of our SK Treasurer, the SK Council will temporarily be unable to fully utilize and disburse the SK funds, as the Treasurer plays an essential role in the proper management, recording, and accountability of our financial transactions. We are therefore working to fill the position as soon as possible to ensure the continued implementation of programs and services for the youth of Barangay Belmonte.

With this, the SK Belmonte Council is now accepting interested and qualified candidates for the position of SK Treasurer to help ensure the continued proper, transparent, and accountable management of our SK funds for the remaining term of the present council.

📌 QUALIFICATIONS

Interested applicants must meet the qualifications provided under Republic Act No. 10742, as amended by Republic Act No. 11768, including:

• Must be a Filipino citizen and a qualified voter/member of the Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK);
• Must be a resident of Barangay Belmonte for at least one (1) year immediately preceding the appointment;
• Must be able to read and write in Filipino, English, or the local dialect;
• Must not have been convicted by final judgment of a crime involving moral turpitude;
• Must meet the applicable requirements on educational background related to business administration, accountancy, finance, economics, or bookkeeping; and
• Must comply with the required TESDA bookkeeping training and certification before assuming the position. (DILG Region IV-A)

📋 PROCESS OF APPOINTMENT

Qualified interested applicants will undergo the following process:

1. Submission of application and supporting documents to the SK Council;
2. Evaluation and verification of qualifications;
3. Selection/nomination by the SK Chairperson from among qualified KK members;
4. Concurrence of the majority of all SK members through the appropriate SK resolution;
5. Completion of the required mandatory training and TESDA bookkeeping certification before assumption of office;
6. Issuance of the appointment and taking of the Oath of Office; and
7. Completion of the necessary documentation and coordination with the DILG, Municipal/Local Youth Development Office, and concerned offices/bank, as applicable. DILG itself provides standard forms for the appointment letter and SK resolution on concurrence. (Manila Sub-LG Resource Center)

We encourage qualified and responsible young people of Barangay Belmonte who are willing to serve with integrity, accountability, and commitment to consider this opportunity.

SEAL OF GOOD YOUTH GOVERNANCE (SGYG) BRGY. BELMONTE ASSESSMENT

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Belmonte recently participated in the Seal of Good Youth Governance (SGYG) 2025 Assessment.

The assessment focuses on five key areas: Participation, Transparency and Accountability, Inclusivity and Equity, Effectiveness and Efficiency, and Responsibility and Sustainability.

For us, the SGYG assessment is not only about recognition. It is also an opportunity to review our work, ensure that our programs are properly planned and documented, and identify areas where we can still improve in serving the youth of Barangay Belmonte.

We are grateful for the opportunity to present our programs, accomplishments, and efforts in promoting responsible and accountable youth governance.

Clarification

The Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Barangay Belmonte successfully conducted the house to house youth profiling during the first semester of 2026. However, the profiling report has not yet been consolidated, submitted, or presented to the concerned offices due to the temporary absence of an appointed SK Secretary, who is responsible for the documentation and preparation of the report.

Please be assured that the Council is committed to completing and submitting the report as soon as a qualified candidate who meets the requirements for the position of SK Secretary is appointed.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work to fulfill this responsibility.

First Quarter 2026 KK Profiling Report Submission Status

Transparency starts with accountability. Narito ang kasalukuyang status ng Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Profiling Submission ng bawat barangay para sa First Quarter 2026.

Ang regular at napapanahong pagsusumite ng mga ulat ay mahalaga upang matiyak ang accurate youth data at mas epektibong implementation ng mga programa para sa kabataan.

We encourage all concerned SK Councils to complete their submissions as soon as possible as we continue working together towards responsive and data-driven youth governance. 🙌
