The Catanduanes Association of Youth Development Officers (CAYDO) successfully conducted its Orientation and Project Monitoring hosted by the Municipality of San Miguelโstrengthening collaboration and commitment in advancing youth development across the province.
The activity formally opened with the Opening Remarks and Introduction of Participants by Mr. John Joseph P. Tabirao, LYDO of San Miguel, who warmly welcomed the delegates and emphasized the vital role of unity among Youth Development Officers in achieving impactful and sustainable programs for the youth sector.
Hon. Antonio T. Teves, Municipal Mayor of San Miguel, delivered his inspiring message reaffirming the Local Government Unitโs unwavering support for all youth programs, projects, and activities. He highlighted that investing in the youth is investing in the future of the municipality and the province.
Hon. Noel S. Morales, Vice Mayor, underscored the importance of project monitoring in ensuring transparency, accountability, and effectiveness in implementing PPAs. He stressed that proper monitoring guarantees that initiatives truly benefit the young people in our communities.
Meanwhile, Mr. Salvador C. Vargas Jr., MLGOO VI, provided important updates from the DILG, guiding the body with relevant policies and directions that will further strengthen youth governance and compliance.
