​The LGU San Agustin took a proactive step toward smarter development by participating in the Capacity-Building Seminar on Zoning Regulations, Administration, and Enforcement held on February 25–27, 2026, in Butuan City. Initiated by the LLPDCPI-SDS Chapter and DHSUD Region XIII, the event was attended by a dedicated team from our MPDO, Municipal Assessor, Municipal Engineering, and Sangguniang Bayan. This seminar strengthens our ability to implement land use policies with greater legal precision, ensuring our local development is organized, sustainable, and compliant with national standards. 🤝🗺️

| Abaca farmers in San Agustin, Surigao del Sur can now access wider markets and enjoy faster, more reliable transport following the formal turnover of the PhP 85-million, 3.94-kilometer Buhisan–Manumnum Farm-to-Market Road by DA-PRDP Caraga on February 13, 2026. The concrete road is expected to improve product quality and pricing, expand production of other high-value crops, and strengthen the local economy—directly benefiting 624 households or 3,226 individuals in the province.
