SDSPPO JOINS COASTAL CLEAN-UP DRIVE IN CELEBRATION OF TANDAG TOWN FIESTA
Camp Vicente L. Pimentel Sr., Tandag City -------- In line with Tandag Town Fiesta Celebration, Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Office (SDSPPO) participated the coastal clean up drive at Mabua Beach, Tandag City today, September 6.
The said activity was spearheaded by the City Government of Tandag under the leadership of Hon. Roxanne C Pimentel, City Mayor of Tandag.
In addition, Local Government of Officials of Tandag, Personnel of Local Government agencies, Barangay Officials and private volunteers were also in attendance.
Meanwhile, coastal clean-up drive aims to promote waste reduction and create public awareness on waste management and environmental concerns as well as to improve outdoor recreational activities of the community.
" We keep on finding ways and means to protect and serve our environment and this is one way of extending the bayanihan spirit. Moreover, the SDSPPO will ensure the safety of everyone because this is our way of saying " Life is Beautiful... Kaligtasan Nyo, Sagot Ko," PCOL SIRUNO said.
