Please be advised that 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙤 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨, Barangay Adecor, Kaputian District, Island Garden City of Samal, will be temporarily closed to the public on 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 8, 2026 to accommodate a Benchmarking Visit and Knowledge Exchange on Giant Clam Conservation.

The temporary closure is necessary to facilitate the activity and ensure the smooth conduct of the learning and knowledge-sharing session with visiting participants.

The resumption of regular operations will be announced through an official post.

In celebration of History Month and the Pangapog Festival, the Island Garden City of Samal through the City Investment and Tourism Office (CITO) -Culture and Arts Unit facilitated an 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙀𝙭𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 showcasing the rich history, culture, and identity of the island.

Designed to connect nature, history, and culture, the exhibition aims to preserve and showcase Island’s local heritage while providing citizens, particularly the youth, with meaningful opportunities to learn and appreciate the island’s past.

Beyond education and preservation, the exhibition highlights the importance of heritage in sustainable tourism and community development. Each artifact represents a piece of Island’s collective memory and reflects the identity of its people.

The public is invited to visit the exhibition, rediscover the stories of the island, and appreciate the cultural treasures that continue to shape the Samalenyo identity.

The Local Government Unit of the Island Garden City of Samal (LGU IGACOS), through the City Investment and Tourism Office (CITO) in partnership with Hugpong Manggagama sa Isla (HUGMAI), proudly participates in the 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒐 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒐 2026 in celebration of the Kadayawan Festival.

The expo runs from 𝑨𝒖𝒈𝒖𝒔𝒕 7 𝒕𝒐 11, 2026, at 𝑨𝒚𝒂𝒍𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝑨𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒛𝒂, 𝑫𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒐 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚, bringing together exhibitors from across Mindanao to showcase the region’s finest products, craftsmanship, and local industries.
