The two-day Public Consultation on the Proposed Schedule of Market Values (SMV) of Real Properties for the Island Garden City of Samal, held on March 12–13, 2026, marked a significant milestone in promoting transparency, accountability, and participatory governance in local fiscal administration. ANNOUNCEMENT || Pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7160 (Local Government Code of 1991) and Republic Act No. 12001, otherwise known as the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act, the City Assessor’s Office hereby informs the public that the proposed Schedule of Market Values is now available online for access and reference.

To further advance transparent, accurate, and compliant property valuation practices, the City Assessor’s Office, spearheaded by Engr. John Kenneth D. Enumerables, REA, EnP, undertook an official visit to the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Regional Office XI

The team met with Regional Director Von Clinton W. Cordero, for the purpose of coaching, mentoring, and validation of the preparation and submission of the Schedule of Market Values (SMV) in accordance with the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA).

The activity was held in Davao City on January 16, 2026, reinforcing the City’s commitment to institutional capacity-building, regulatory compliance, and the strengthening of local revenue administration.
