The Negros Tigers Rescue Striking Force - Sagay Unit actively participated in the Blood Letting Activity held today at the Brgy. Old Sagay Covered Court, Sagay City.

The activity aimed to help replenish the local blood supply and promote voluntary blood donation within the community.

Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), together with personnel from the City Health Office, assisted in the successful conduct of the activity by providing support to donors and ensuring the smooth flow of the program.

May 24, 2026, at around 3:30 PM

Negros Tigers Rescue Striking Force - Sagay Unit responded to a call involving a child accident in front of SUNN.

The victim was identified as Bea, 6 years old, a resident of Purok Santan 2, Brgy. Old Sagay, Sagay City
who sustained abrasions on her leg and chin after jumping off a running tricycle together with other children.

The responding team immediately conducted assessment and provided necessary first aid to the child.

Fortunately, the other children involved were safe and sustained no injuries.

May 18, 2026, around 4pm.

The Negros Tigers Rescue Striking Force - Sagay Unit responded to a reported house fire involving the residence of Heraclito “Bebot” Diamante located at Sitio Buntod, Purok Manzanilla A, Brgy. Old Saagay, Sagay City.

The newly acquired mini fire trike was utilized for the first time following its arrival and blessing held last May 14.

The operation was headed by Honorable Barangay Captain Rogelio Alod Sayam together with the Barangay Tanods, members of the Negros Tigers Rescue Striking Force – Sagay Unit, and the Bureau of Fire Protection Sagay personnel.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the authorities.

Negros Tigers Rescue Striking Force – Sagay Unit responded to a vehicular accident involving two single motorcycles that occurred at around 6:00 PM in front of the Barangay Hall of Old Sagay.

Based on initial information, one motorcycle collided with another and immediately fled the scene after the incident.

The victims from the other motorcycle sustained minor injuries, including head swelling and several scratches on different parts of the body.

The injured individuals were given initial assessment and assistance, and no fatalities were reported. They were transported by Sagay rescue ambulance to the nearest hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.

At present, the suspect vehicle remains unidentified and is under follow-up, while the victims are in stable condition.
