The Sangguniang Barangay of Taba-ao, headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Joy Vasquez, successfully installed Solar Street Lights and released Presidential Scholarship Grant to 5 graduating students under the Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program (BBMP).
Through this program, five (5) deserving scholars, who are all fourth-year college students expected to graduate in the 2026β2027 academic year, received β±20,000.00 each, amounting to a total of β±100,000.00 in educational assistance.
As part of the scholarship requirements, the beneficiaries also signed the Oath of Undertaking, signifying their commitment to follow the programβs guidelines and fulfill their responsibilities as scholarship beneficiaries.

Furthermore, we also express our sincere appreciation to all concerned offices, partners, and stakeholders for their invaluable support in the implementation of identified Barangay projects, including Assistance for Administrative Operations and the acquisition and instalation of Solar Street Lights on portions of Purok Mainawa-on and Mabinuligon - along the Barangay Road going to Purok Paglaum. These initiatives further strengthen our Barangayβs security and capacity to deliver efficient, responsive, and effective public service to our constituents.
Together, let us continue to invest in education, strengthen good governance, and empower our community toward a more progressive, prosperous and resilient Barangay Taba-ao.
