TDOEx Pag-ugyon 2026 strengthens coordination, readiness in Civilian crisis
Participating agencies demonstrated coordination and interoperability during the Civilian Spillover – Scenario 1 of the Inter-Agency Territorial Defense Operations Exercise (ITDOEx) “Pag-ugyon 2026” in Barangay Sapa, Miag-ao, Iloilo on June 16, 2026.
The exercise simulated the influx of displaced civilians fleeing an escalating security crisis, testing the readiness of military, law enforcement, local government units, emergency responders, and humanitarian organizations in conducting rescue, evacuation, and relief operations.
The scenario involved the arrival of evacuees from Luzon and Palawan seeking refuge in Iloilo, prompting authorities to implement registration, shelter, medical, relief, and security measures. The situation further intensified following simulated missile strikes on key military installations in Western Visayas and cyberattacks on critical communication networks, challenging responders to maintain public safety and effective crisis management.
NOTE: This activity is a simulation exercise and does not represent any actual or imminent threat. It is conducted to assess and enhance the readiness, coordination, interoperability, and response capabilities of participating agencies in ITDO exercise.
