Job Fair brings opportunities closer to Sagaynons

Job seekers from across Sagay City gathered at the Sagay City Gymnasium on June 8 for the Job Fair and Serbisyo Caravan, bringing employment opportunities and essential government services closer to the community.

The activity, organized by the City Government of Sagay in partnership with national government agencies and participating employers, aims to connect applicants with potential jobs while providing easier access to employment-related requirements and services.

The event was also conducted in time with the 30th Charter Day Anniversary of Sagay on June 11.

Also joining the caravan were representatives from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Fund, and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) through OWWA, helping applicants process documents and receive assistance in one venue.

The initiative forms part of the city government's continuing efforts to create more opportunities for Sagaynons, support local employment, and make public services more accessible to the people.
