Continuing the celebration of World Teachersโ€™ Day 2026, Deped Sagay City conducted the Teachersโ€™ Forum: Educators in Action โ€“ A Symposium on Inspiring Change and Lifelong Learners.

The forum featured Keynote Speaker Maโ€™am May Pasaporte-Bautista, PhD, DPA, who shared valuable insights and inspiration with Sagaynon educators, highlighting the transformative role of teachers in creating meaningful change and nurturing lifelong learners.

The gathering provided an avenue for educators to reflect, learn, connect, and be inspired as they continue their commitment to quality education and the development of every learner.

Indeed, when educators are and inspired, they become catalysts for positive change in their schools and communities.

Deped Sagay City opened its World Teachersโ€™ Day 2026 celebration with a solemn and meaningful Thanksgiving Mass for Sagaynon teachers, presided over by Rev. Fr. Earl Aureo G. Castillo.

The Holy Mass served as a beautiful moment of thanksgiving for the dedication, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment of teachers in nurturing Sagaynon learners and shaping the future of the community.
