Ang Sagay Primary Care Facility nagakalipay nga ipaabot sa publiko nga fully operational na ang aton Birthing Facility kag handa na maghatag sang 𝒔𝒂𝒇𝒆, 𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒌𝒂𝒈 𝒎𝒂𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒏 𝒏𝒈𝒂 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒃𝒊𝒔𝒚𝒐 para sa normal delivery sang aton mga expectant mothers.

November 19, 2025 — Random Visit from NIR CHD QUAD Cluster Team

Today, the Sagay City Primary Care Facility received a random visit and inspection from the NIR Center for Health Development (CHD) QUAD CLUSTER Team, representing the sectors of Nutrition, WASH, MHPSS, and Programs.

The visiting team are:

Evemar Rose V. Taghap

During the visit, the DRRM–H Unit, headed by Dr. Maebel Diosana and Nurse Jennifer Alparito, responded to the team’s inquiries and presented the preparedness measures, response activities, and coordination efforts implemented during the onslaught of Typhoon Tino. They discussed the city’s disaster readiness, health service continuity, and strategies carried out before, during, and after the typhoon.

The QUAD Team was also given the opportunity to meet with SP Chair on Health Dr. Mel Serondo and Vice Mayor Narwin Javelosa to discuss the city’s health programs, response performance, and areas for enhancement.

Part of their field validation included a visit to the City Nutrition Office, where they reviewed the nutritional status of the population, with particular focus on children. They also traveled to Barangay Paraiso, where they commended the barangay for its well-prepared disaster systems and organized community response.

The visit highlights the ongoing collaboration between the CHD and Sagay City in strengthening public health programs, disaster resilience, and community protection.
