Munting Trivia:
Ang "Undás" ay isang tradisyonal na pagdiriwang sa Pilipinas na ginugunita ang mga yumao o mga namatay na mahal sa buhay. Ito ay bahagi ng kulturang Pilipino at may pinagmulang Katoliko Romano.

Ang salitang "Undás" ay nagmula sa salitang Espanyol na "honras," na nangangahulugan ng "parangal" o "paggalang." Sa konteksto ng pagdiriwang, ito ay tumutukoy sa pagbibigay-pugay at pag-alala sa mga yumao.

Sa panahon ng Undás, karaniwang pumupunta ang mga tao sa mga sementeryo upang bisitan ang mga puntod ng kanilang mga mahal sa buhay. Nagdadala sila ng mga bulaklak, kandila, at iba pang mga regalo upang parangalan ang mga namatay. Ito rin ay panahon ng pagdadamayan at pagkakaisa ng mga pamilya at komunidad.

Ang Undás ay karaniwang ginugunita tuwing Nobyembre 1 (Araw ng mga Santo) at Nobyembre 2 (Araw ng mga Kaluluwa). Sa mga araw na ito, ang mga tao ay nagtitipon-tipon upang magbigay-pugay sa mga yumao at ipagdasal ang kanilang mga kaluluwa.

The Sablayan South Municipal Extension Founding Anniversary (21st October 2025)... activities---
The grand parade during the 12th Founding Anniversary of Sablayan South Municipal Extension is more than just a festive march--it is a celebration of unity, pride & progress. It strengthens community spirit, honor's the South Barangays achievements, expressed in the Barangay exhibit (Barangay Ko, Kilalanin Mo Brgy. GEA won the exhibit) & Civil Wedding of 15 couples.
Also the Zumba contest during the anniversary is more than a dance competition...(Brgy. Tuban won the Zumba) it is a celebration of health, unity & community spirit. It embodies the south Barangay's commitment to promoting wellness & fostering joy and solidarity among it's people.
I am beyond grateful with the presence of 7 South Barangay captains: Brgy.Burgos Seliney Epetito; Brgy. Ligaya - Antonio Magnaye-; Brgy. Gea - Marites Cadiao; Brgy. San Nicolas - Oliver Jaranilla-; Brgy. Malisbong - Jimmy Tan; Brgy. Tuban - Rolando Perez & Brgy. Batong Buhay - Alex Conde. With special mention to our hard working Mayor Walter B. Marquez and his VM Edwin N. Mintu, And the Sangguniang Bayan Members. MABUHAY Ang Sablayan...laging palaban!

Naka Isang dekada at DALAWA na Ang Sablayan South Municipal Extension last October 21, 2025. Napakabilis ng panahon...at patuloy pa Rin Ang pagpapalait ng Matapat na serbisyo sa tao ng mga empleyado. Ito ay nagmumula sa matibay na pamumuno inspiradong Ama ng bayan, Walter B. Marquez Kasama Ang batang Sablayan, VM Edwin N. Mintu at mga konsehal ng bayan. Tunay na pinaninindigan Ang hamong "Matibay na Patitibayin pa, iba ka Sablayan...palaban!" MABUHAY Ang bayan ng Sablayan.
