I.

Advice the Municipal Mayor, as the case may be, the Sangguniang Bayan and other Local and National Government Officer concerned regarding the disposition of local government funds and other matters relative to public finance;
II. Take charge of disbursement of all municipal/local government funds and other funds, the custody of which may be entrusted to him by law or by other competent authority;

III. Take custody and exercise proper management of the funds and properties of the LGU concerned;
IV. Inspect private, commercial and industrial establishments within the jurisdiction of the LGU concerned in relation to the implementation of tax ordinances, pursuant to the provisions under Book II of the Local Government Code;
V. Maintain and update the tax information system of LGU;
VI. Exercise such other powers and performs such other duties and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinance.
