As of this date Barangay VIII dysfunctional CCTV Camera around the Barangay are restored, in place and functional. There are repairs and restoration that have been done + installation of new units.

The public address or paging system that are dysfunctional are likewise subject to ongoing restoration and rehabilitation. The common cause of malfunctions are disconnected fiber cables due to strong winds or due to recklessness of Telco installers.

These initiatives were implemented in 2018 recognizing Barangay VIII as best Barangay in Innovations. These are maintained and have plans to add more for a more enhanced EWD/EWS during disasters and monitoring tools in resolving crimes.

This morning the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) Celebrates Nutrition Month 2025 by feeding thirty (30) children ages 6 years old and below. Serving nutritious foods classified as Go, Grow and Glow foods. The program was graced by the presence of the Medical Officer, Midwife and Personnel in charge of nutrition program from the RCHO.

Simultaneously, a lecture in Handling & Understanding CICL, distinction of CICL from Children at Risk (CAR) was conducted and participated by BCPC, SB and SK Members. The Resource Speaker was Sec. RJ, imparting his knowledge and experiences as a Child Advocate and former member of the Roxas City Council for the Protection of Children (RCCPC).

Today Sec. RJ is on Official Travel to the DENR Regional Office VI Surveys & Mapping Division, Iloilo City. The purpose of the travel is to secure an approved subdivision plan of the City Government Property proposed lot for the construction of the future Barangay Multi-purpose Hall.
