ANNOUNCEMENT
To All Interested Applicants for the August 9, 2026 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT).

The Civil Service Commission Field Office-Capiz is now accepting applications for the Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) scheduled on August 9, 2026.

May 14, 2026 to June 10, 2026

To ensure a smooth and orderly filing process, all applicants are required to secure an appointment prior to submission of their application.
• The Online Scheduling System will be open from May 12, 2026 to June 14, 2026

Please bring the following on your scheduled appointment date:
• Printed Application Form
• Photocopy of a valid ID
• Four (4) passport-size photos (with name tag and signature)

All applicants-including pregnant women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and senior citizens-are required to book an appointment. Priority lanes will be provided for these groups.

𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐈𝐋 𝐀 𝐓𝐀𝐗 𝐀𝐌𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐘 𝐎𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐘 𝐓𝐀𝐗𝐄𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐋 𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐘 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Pursuant to Section 30 of RA 12001, otherwise known as the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA) and Section 56 of its IRR - Grant of Tax Amnesty on Real Property Taxes and Special Levies on Real Property:

*** There is hereby granted a real property tax amnesty which shall cover penalties, surcharges, and interests from all unpaid real property taxes, including Special Education Fund, idle land tax, and other special levy taxes, prior to the effectivity of this Act: Provided, That the real property tax amnesty hereby authorized and granted can only be availed within a period of two (2) years after the effectivity of this Act.

This relief may be availed by a delinquent property owner with the option of one-time payment or installment payment of the delinquent real property taxes within two (2) years from the effectivity of this Act.

This amnesty shall not extend to the following real properties:

(a) Delinquent real properties which have been disposed of at public auction to satisfy the real property tax delinquencies;

(b) Real properties with tax delinquencies which are being paid pursuant to a compromise agreement; and

(c) Real properties subject of pending cases in court for real property tax delinquencies. ***

NOTICE IS HEREBY SERVED THAT PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 254, 255, 256, 258, 260, AND 174 OF R.A. 7160, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE OF 1991, THE REAL PROPERTY TAX DUE AND PAYABLE FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2023 AND PREVIOUS YEARS HAVE BECOME DELINQUENT.

The Provincial Treasurer is mandated to enforce collection of delinquent taxes and for this purpose is empowered to resort to any of the following remedies.

1. BY ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION
a. Levy on Real Property
b. Sale of Delinquent Real Property or usable portion thereat at public auction

2. BY JUDICIAL ACTION

However, if anytime before any of the above-stated remedies is instituted payment of the delinquent tax and the corresponding penalty hereunder provided is made, it shall free the taxpayer from liability of his property to such action.

COST OF SALE: As soon as the Notice of Auction has been published, the taxpayer is liable to pay ten percent (10%) of the total tax due including the penalties, as the cost of sale.

INTEREST PAYABLE: If the delinquent real property is sold at public auction, an additional two percent (2%) interest per month on the purchase price together with the ten percent (10%) cost of sale shall be paid by the owner or any person who has legal interest therein, before the auctioned property can be redeemed.

Delinquent taxpayers are therefore requested to pay their tax delinquencies within thirty (30) days upon receipt of the Notice of Delinquency (NOD) to forestall the inclusion of their property in the list of delinquent properties to be sold at public auction and the institution of such as other legal remedies provided for by law.

NOTICE OF PAYMENT OF 1% BASIC REAL PROPERTY TAX AND 1% SPECIAL EDUCATION FUND TAX IN THE PROVINCE OF CAPIZ FOR THE YEAR 2026

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 233, 235, 246, 249, 250, and 255 of Republic Act 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, and the Revised Revenue Code of the Province of Capiz under Provincial Ordinance No. 367 series of 2024, the Basic Real Property Tax and Special Education Fund Tax for CY 2026, at the rate of one percent (1%) each shall become due and payable on the first day of January. The said taxes, however maybe paid in four (4) equal installments without interest at the option of the taxpayers, as follows:

1st Installment ……………………........on or before March 31, 2026
2nd Installment …………………….........on or before June 30, 2026
3rd Installment ……………………...on or before Sept. 30, 2026
4th Installment …………………….. on or before Dec. 31, 2026

Ten percent (10%) discount shall be granted to any taxpayer who pays on or before the deadline for the payment above prescribed, provided, that there is no tax delinquency on the same property. However, real property taxes due or applicable to the ensuing or incoming year paid on or before December 31, 2026, entitles the taxpayer to twenty percent (20%) discount.

Failure to pay the Real Property Taxes for Basic and Special Education Fund, on or before the scheduled installment dates, shall subject the taxpayer concerned to an interest of two percent (2%) each month of delinquency, provided, however, that in no case shall the total interest on the unpaid tax or portion thereof exceed thirty six (36) months.

After the end of the year for which the taxes are due and the real property taxes are not paid, the remedies provided for by law to enforce collection thereof will be availed by this Office.

Real property owners are requested to pay their taxes at the Office of the Municipal Treasurer where the properties are located, or at the Provincial Treasurer’s Office, Capiz Provincial Capitol, Roxas City, Capiz.
