The LGU Rosario La Union under the leadership of ๐€๐“๐“๐˜. ๐๐„๐‹๐‹๐€๐‘๐Œ๐ˆ๐ ๐€ ๐…๐‹๐Ž๐‘๐„๐’ ๐ˆ๐ˆ- Municipal Mayor through the PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT SERVICE OFFICE headed by ๐ƒ๐‘. ๐€๐‹๐„๐—๐€๐๐ƒ๐„๐‘ ๐. ๐…๐‹๐Ž๐‘๐„๐’- PESO Manager and Staff, PESO & MDO on Wheels visited Cadumanian, Rosario, La Union to bring services directly to families in need. PESO team held community organizing sessions focused on parents of child laborers, providing information and support to protect their children. We conducted an livelihood orientation for the first batch of TUPAD beneficiaries, explaining program benefits and next steps. Participants received guidance on worker rights, livelihood opportunities, and how to access local resources.
Ukay-ukay goods were distributed to families to help meet immediate clothing needs. Community leaders and volunteers joined us to strengthen outreach and build trust.
Conversations centered on long-term solutions to keep children in school and out of hazardous work. We encouraged parents to participate in livelihood training and available social services.
Together we pledged to continue partnership and follow-up support for every family.
