May 2026 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination Results Released in Four (4) Working Days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 3,004 out of 9,745 passed the Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy in N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last May 2026. The results of examination with respect to eight (8) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

The Board of Accountancy is composed of Hon. Noe G. Quiñanola, Chairman; Hon. Samuel B. Padilla, Vice Chairman; Hon. Gloria T. Baysa, Hon. Thelma S. Ciudadano, Hon. Gervacio I. Piator and Hon. Maria Teresita Z. Dimaculangan (inhibited), Members.

Starting July 9, 2026, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please visit the official PRC website (www.prc.gov.ph) and follow the instructions for registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: 1) Screenshot of system-generated Registration Form; 2) valid government-issued ID. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

EXAM ADVISORY

CONDUCT OF THE LICENSURE EXAMINATION FOR INTERIOR DESIGNERS

June 2, 2026.The Professional Regulation Commission Regional Office I (PRC RO I) announces the conduct of the Licensure Examination for Interior Designers on July 1, 2, & 3, 2026, in Rosales, Pangasinan.

Here in the Region, there are twenty-five (25) examinees who will take their examination at PRC RO I Testing Rooms, Brgy. Carmay East, Rosales, Pangasinan.

During the examination, examinees are mandated to bring with them their Notice of Admission (NOA), pencils (No. 2), ball pens with black ink only, one (1) piece metered-stamped window mailing envelopeone, one (1) piece long brown envelope, one (1) piece long transparent (non-colored) plastic envelope (for keeping the valuables and other allowed items), packed snacks, meals, water, and necessary medications, including hygiene and sanitary kits, in transparent/clear containers/cellophanes.

Further, examinees are strongly advised to read the special instructions and advisory in their NOA, attend the Prep Talk: PRC RO I Examinees’ Pre-Exam Technical Briefing and Licensure Know-How, visit and check their Room Assignment at the PRC official website, www.prc.gov.ph at least 3-5 days before the scheduled examination and download the Examination Program for their reference and guidance.

PRB-VET Conducts Ocular Inspection and Monitoring of Various Veterinary Clinics in Ilocos Norte

The Professional Regulatory Board of Veterinary Medicine (PRB-VET) conducted a Physical Random Ocular Inspection and Monitoring of various veterinary clinics in Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur from May 18–22, 2026, pursuant to Republic Act No. 8981 (PRC Modernization Act of 2000) and Republic Act No. 9268 (Veterinary Medicine Act), which aimed assess compliance with professional and regulatory standards and supports the Board’s continuing efforts to uphold high professional, technical, and ethical standards in the practice of veterinary medicine.

The inspection was spearheaded by PRB Chairperson Hon. Claro N. Mingala, together with PRB Member Hon. Tomas M. Acorda with the assistance of Ms. Richelle Salviejo, representative of the Professional Regulation Commission Regional Office I (PRC-RO1).

During the inspection, the Board assessed the overall compliance of veterinary clinics with the regulatory requirements and standards governing the veterinary profession. The activity likewise highlighted the commitment of veterinary practitioners and clinic owners to continuously enhance their services in support of animal health, public safety, and professional excellence.

The PRC-RO1 and the Professional Regulatory Board of Veterinary Medicine reaffirm their commitment to upholding the integrity of the veterinary profession through regular monitoring and collaborative initiatives aimed at ensuring the delivery of quality veterinary services to the public.
