𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒎 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓

The Ronda PWD Rehab Center, in partnership with the Tourism Office, together with Southwestern University PHINMA PT Interns, conducted a training at Bay Beach House.

Personnel were equipped with essential skills in vital signs monitoring and Basic Life Support (BLS), enhancing readiness, safety, and quality service for both guests and the community.

A step forward in building a more capable and health-ready Ronda.

Building on the ongoing collaboration between the health sector (thru RPWDRC), Southwestern University PHINMA and the Ronda Tourism Office, a capacity development training was recently conducted at Fazenda de Faburada.

This activity reflects our commitment to the continuity of best practices, ensuring that inclusive care, safety awareness, and basic health preparedness are consistently shared across tourism establishments in Ronda. By bringing these initiatives to different venues, we strengthen both community care and responsible tourism.

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫

The Southwestern University PHINMA Physical Therapy Interns, through the Ronda PWD Rehab Center, conducted a refresher training for the Community Based Rehab Workers (CBRWs) of Barangay Sta. Cruz and new Barangay Healthcare Workers (BHWs) of Barangays Canduling, Ilaya, Palanas, and Poblacion.

This activity strengthens community-based care by refreshing essential skills and supporting our frontline health workers as they serve their respective barangays.

The Southwestern University PHINMA Physical Therapy interns, through the Ronda PWD Rehab Center, conducted a learning session for the personnel of Swetin Tourist Inn on Basic Life Support (BLS) and vital signs monitoring.

This activity is part of the Rehab Center’s advocacy to educate and empower the community, helping individuals and workplaces become more prepared to respond to emergencies and promote safety.
