Isang malaking karangalan ang maging bahagi at makapagbahagi ng kaalaman sa isinagawang Not Attending School (NAS) Symposium noong May 14, 2026 sa Multi-Purpose Building, Brgy. Capaclan, Romblon, Romblon, na inorganisa ng DSWD Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Field Office MIMAROPA.

Sa paksang โ€œChild Work Prevention Through Education,โ€ binigyang-diin natin ang kahalagahan ng paggabay, pag-unawa, at paghikayat sa ating mga kabataan na manatili at bumalik sa pag-aaral. Dahil ang edukasyon ay hindi lamang karapatan ng bawat bataโ€”ito rin ay pag-asa, proteksyon, at daan tungo sa mas magandang kinabukasan.

Maraming salamat sa buong pamunuan ng Romblon DSWD 4Ps sa pangunguna ni Ms. Camille V. Faa, sa pagkakataong makapagbahagi ng inspirasyon at suporta para sa kabataang Romblomanon.

Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang edukasyon, pangalagaan ang karapatan ng bawat bata, at patuloy na magbigay-liwanag sa kanilang mga pangarap.

Nakiisa ang Provincial Government SDEC Team sa training na โ€œFrom Policy to Practice: Provincial/City Management of Special Drug Education Centers (SDECs)โ€ na isinagawa ng DSWD Field Office MIMAROPA at Dangerous Drugs Board.

Dinaluhan ito ng ating Youth Development Officer na si Ms. Shannen Amber Solis Lim-Mendez, kasama sina Sir El Jay Francisco โ€“ Provincial SDEC Focal Person, Sir Jay Bautista โ€“ DepEd Representative, at Sir Cyril dela Cruz โ€“ Provincial PTA President, bilang bahagi ng Provincial SDEC Team.

Gayundin ay dumalo sa aktibidad sina Maโ€™am Mirabella Maraรฑo โ€“ MSWDO ng Sta. Maria, Maโ€™am Emyflor Machon โ€“ MSWDO ng Santa Fe, at ang kanilang Social Worker na si Ms. Denise Mae Ballera.

Layunin ng pagsasanay na palakasin ang kaalaman at kakayahan ng mga local implementers sa epektibong pamamahala at pagpapatupad ng mga programang may kaugnayan sa Special Drug Education Centers, para sa mas ligtas, mas mulat, at mas empowered na kabataan.

Patuloy ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa pagsusulong ng mga programang nagbibigay-proteksyon, pag-asa, at mas magandang kinabukasan para sa kabataang Romblomanon. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ
