LOOK: RECOGNITION CEREMONY OF COAST GUARD NON-OFFICER COURSE CLASS 117-2025 "SIBOL-MANDASIG" AT THE REGIONAL TRAINING CENTER PALAWAN
Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command (CGETDC), through the Coast Guard Non-Officers' School (CGNOS) recognized the 200 male trainees of the Coast Guard Non-Officer Course Class 117-2025 โSIBOL MANDASIGโ aboard Regional Training Center (RTC) Palawan, Purok Base, Punta Baja, Rizal, Palawan on 16 April 2026!
The momentous occasion was graced by VADM TITO ALVIN G ANDAL PCG, Commander, Coast Guard Education, Training, and Doctrine Command, served as the Keynote Speaker. In his message, VADM ANDAL PCG, expressed his gratitude for the perseverance shown by the male trainees despite the challenges of the boot camp phase. He also highlighted their vital role as the future of the Philippine Coast Guard, emphasizing the pride and accountability they embody.
The Recognition Rites mark a defining milestone in a Candidate Coast Guard Non-Officerโs journeyโcelebrating their triumph over the toughest phase of training, the boot camp, where resilience, discipline, and strength are forged. Having proven themselves physically capable, emotionally resilient, and decisive under pressure, they now rise as future Non-Officers of the Philippine Coast Guard. With the boot camp behind them, they move forward to the academic phase to sharpen their knowledge, leadership, and operational competence for the duties that lie ahead.
The event also attended by CAPT DINO B GARCIA PCG, Superintendent, Coast Guard Non-Officers' School; CAPT ADONIS P AรASCO PCG, Deputy Commander, Coast Guard District Palawan; CAPT ELAINE R PANGILINAN PCG, Director, Regional Training Center Palawan; CDR FREDERICK E GACASA PCG, Superintendent, Coast Guard School for Special Maritime Affairs; LCDR EDGAR B ARDAMOY PCG, Course Director CGNOC CL 117-2025 and MCPO Analyn P Saminiano PCG, Command Master Chief Petty Officer, CGETDC โ together with other representatives from Local Government of Palawan headed by Honorable Lily G Torrico, Mayor, Municipality of Quezon, Palawan and Hononorable Maria Gracia M Zapanta, Vice Mayor, Municipality of Rizal Palawan.
Though much remains ahead in their training journey, this recognition stands as a testament to how far they have come โ stronger, wiser, and ever more ready to uphold the honor of the Philippine Coast Guard.
