In celebration of Tamaraw Month, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Rizal proudly extended its full support to the “Save the Tamaraw Marathon” organized by Mindoro Adventours. The event served as a meaningful platform to raise awareness on the conservation of the endangered tamaraw of Mt. Iglit-Baco Natural Park.

This successful event was made possible through the collective efforts and strong collaboration of various offices and partners, including the Municipal Mayor Hon. Ernesto C. Pablo Jr., Rizal Municipal Police Station (MPS) headed by PCPT Aristotle A. Calayag, the AFP 68IB headed by Mr. Guda, SB Chairman on Tourism Hon. Joey A. Tacuyo, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) headed by Jolence O. Soriano, Rizal Health Unit headed by Dr. Mary Josephine L. Mangahas, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) headed by Louderick A. Jimena, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) headed by SFO3 Zushiela J. Labindao, Municipal Information Office headed by John Carlo A. Motril, and the Municipal Tourism Office headed by Eden N. Alpay.
