This yearly program fosters volunteerism, teamwork, and community participation by bringing together government agencies, stakeholders, parents, teachers, and volunteers to help prepare schools for the opening of classes. Through Brigada Eskwela, school facilities are repaired, enhanced, and maintained to create a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment, ensuring that learners are ready and supported for a successful and productive academic year.
As part of its commitment to public service, BFP Ragay Fire Station participated in Brigada Eskwela by helping improve school facilities and promoting fire safety awareness. This initiative supports the Department of Education's goal of providing a safe and disaster-resilient learning environment while strengthening community partnership and preparedness.
