As part of the implementation of security measures and preparedness protocols, personnel of Quirino MPS conducted an inspection of vital installations in Barangay Poblacion, Quirino, Ilocos Sur.

The activity aimed to assess the security condition of critical facilities, ensure compliance with existing safety measures, and identify potential vulnerabilities that may affect public safety and security.

Likewise, coordination was made with responsible personnel to strengthen vigilance and preparedness against possible threats and emergencies.

Likewise, the personnel coordinated with the duty barangay officials regarding the peace and order situation within the area.

On June 15, 2026, personnel of Quirino MPS under the supervision of PCPT TITO B LAWANA, JR., ACOP, conducted foot patrolling within Barangay Poblacion, Quirino, Ilocos Sur. During the activity, informational flyers on Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), which strengthens the government's campaign against the use, sale, and distribution of illegal drugs, and Republic Act No. 8353 (The Anti-Rape Law of 1997), which protects individuals from sexual violence and imposes penalties on offenders, and Motorist Safety Tips were distributed to residents and motorists.

The activity aimed to raise public awareness, promote law-abiding behavior, and strengthen the partnership between the police and the community in maintaining peace and order.
