El Niño Alert issued ⚠️

DOST-PAGASA has officially raised its ENSO Alert and Warning System to El Niño Alert, following the high likelihood of its development in the coming months and possible persistence into early 2027. This may bring drier-than-usual conditions, including dry spells and droughts in parts of the country.

However, above-normal rainfall may still be experienced over the western sections during the Habagat season.

2nd Fire and Rescue Olympics 2026

The Municipality of Quirino Ilocos Sur bravely accepted the challenge. After days of preparation the event has come to an end.
Volunteers from different barangays in the municipality shows their dedication and commitment during trainings, teamwork and camaraderie towards one another and showcased sportsmanship and gave their very best to execute standard procedures across differents fire and rescue techniques during the event.
The event was participated by 23 municipalities and 2 cities in the province of Ilocos Sur and we are proudly presenting the awards that Team Quirino has gained.
