UP NCTS Brings Transport Knowledge Into Action

The UP National Center for Transportation Studies conducted the Traffic Administration Course from August 10 to 14, 2026, bringing together 70 transport and traffic practitioners from government agencies, local government units, private organizations, and academic institutions across the country.

The five day course covered transportation planning, mobility management, traffic engineering and management, traffic impact assessment, road safety, transport institutional frameworks, and public transport planning. Participants also joined practical survey activities and workshops on mobility management, social marketing, and public transportation.

Despite challenging weather conditions, participants remained actively engaged throughout the week, sharing experiences and applying transport concepts to real world issues.

Through the program, UP NCTS continues to strengthen the capacity of transport professionals to support safer, more efficient, and more sustainable mobility in Philippine communities.
