𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦. 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦. 💙💛❤️

The NACC Standards, Accreditation and Monitoring Division (SAMD), in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development - Standards Bureau (DSWD-SB), organized the Capacity Building for Social Work Agencies (SWAs) on Adoption and Alternative Child Care Programs and Services from August 24–28, 2026 via Google Meet.

The NACC’s SAMD conducted a five-day capacity-building activity for 94 social workers from 89 Social Work Agencies, strengthening their knowledge and practice on adoption and alternative child care standards, policies, case management, adoption matching, foster care, and family-based placement.

With 21 PRC Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units, the activity supports SWAs in strengthening their commitment to quality services in adoption and alternative child care.

Stronger standards. Stronger systems. Better pathways to permanency.

𝗡𝗔𝗖𝗖 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗱-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽

The National Authority for Child Care (NACC) successfully conducted its Mid-Year Program Review and Evaluation Workshop (PREW) on August 24–26, 2026, at Bayview Park Hotel, Manila.

The three-day workshop gathered NACC offices, divisions, and Regional Alternative Child Care Offices (RACCOs) to review the implementation of NACC's programs, assess accomplishments against targets, identify challenges and gaps, and discuss action plans and priorities for the future.

Through PREW, the NACC takes notice of its progress and uses the results to guide program implementation moving forward. 💙💛❤

The National Authority for Child Care (NACC) and the City Government of Navotas signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to strengthen the delivery of adoption and foster care services for children and families in the city.

NACC Undersecretary Atty. Gaby Concepcion emphasized the vital role of local government units in bringing child welfare services closer to communities and helping protect children against illegal and unlawful adoption schemes.

The partnership comes as adoption and foster care programs have been adopted as sub-indicators in the Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), underscoring the role of LGUs in child care and protection.

Sa episode na ito ng Makabata Teleradyo, pag-uusapan natin kung ano ang isang enabling, safe, and motivating learning environment, ano ang mga salik na nakaaapekto sa well-being at motivation ng mga mag-aaral, at paano makatutulong ang mga paaralan, g**o, magulang, at mismong mga bata sa paglikha ng positibong learning environment.
Makakasama natin si Jocelyn Dr. Andaya, Officer-in-Charge ng Office of the Assistant Secretary for Governance and Operations ng Department of Education, para talakayin ang mga hakbang at polisiya ng DepEd tungo sa mas ligtas, inclusive, at child-friendly na mga paaralan. 🤝💙

The National Authority for Child Care (NACC) warmly welcomes Assistant Secretary for Operations Atty. Madeline Arezu Ty Jam and NACC Council Member Atty. Bernadette Abejo as they return to the agency.

Both bring with them years of experience in adoption and alternative child care. Asec. Jam previously served as NACC Assistant Secretary for Administration and Finance, while Atty. Abejo formerly served as Executive Director of the Inter-Country Adoption Board (ICAB).

Congratulations on your appointments and oath-taking! We look forward to working with you once again as NACC continues to advance the best interests and welfare of every child. 💙💛❤️
