๐ข PUBLIC WARNING TO ALL PEST CONTROL OPERATORS ๐ซThe Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has issued a strict directive reiterating the licensing requirement for all Pest Control Operators (PCOs) in accordance with DOH-DAO No. 2019-0010 and its implementing guidelines.
โ ๏ธ Following reports from the recent Philippine Urban Pest Management Summit (May 22โ23, 2025), it was found that some pest control entities are operating without proper FDA licensesโ a direct violation of government regulations.
๐ ALL PEST CONTROL OPERATORS MUST BE LICENSED by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to legally operate. Failure to comply may lead to:
* Closure of the business
* Suspension or revocation of license
* Cancellation or disapproval of renewal
* Legal actions initiated by affected parties
๐ Local Government Units (LGUs) and Sanitary Units are ordered to strictly enforce this licensing requirement. DILG Regional Directors are also instructed to disseminate this information widely.
๐ Unlicensed pest control operations are illegal and unsafe. Ensure your business is compliant to avoid penalties.
๐ For strict compliance.
