Under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗬 𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗣 𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗧𝗢, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director, Bureau of Fire Protection–National Capital Region (BFP-NCR), the newly promoted Junior Commissioned Officers of the Quezon City Fire District (QCFD) conducted a courtesy call on 𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗗 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗢 𝗝𝗥, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, District Fire Marshal, Quezon City Fire District.

The courtesy call served as an opportunity to formally acknowledge the officers’ recent promotion and to reinforce their commitment to uphold the standards of professionalism, integrity, discipline, and dedicated public service. The District Fire Marshal conveyed his guidance and encouragement as the newly promoted officers assume their enhanced responsibilities, emphasizing the importance of leadership, accountability, and continued service toward ensuring the safety and protection of the Quezon City community.

The activity formed part of the QCFD’s commitment to ensuring public safety and providing immediate medical assistance during large-scale public events.

The medical standby personnel remained on alert throughout the activity, prepared to respond promptly to any medical emergencies or incidents requiring immediate attention. Their presence contributed to the safe and orderly conduct of the roadshow and demonstrated the QCFD's continued dedication to protecting lives, promoting community safety, and delivering responsive emergency services to the public.

The Quezon City Fire District (QCFD) continues to uphold its commitment to protecting lives and properties through dedicated service, coordinated action, and responsive emergency operations. From September 7 to 13, 2026, QCFD personnel carried out various activities and operations in support of its mandate to ensure the safety and well-being of every QCitizen.

Throughout the week, QCFD personnel remained steadfast in responding to fire and medical emergencies, conducting fire prevention and safety activities, strengthening community engagement, participating in coordination meetings and drills, and performing other essential operational functions. These accomplishments reflect QCFD’s continuing pursuit of excellence in public service and its unwavering commitment to empowering QCitizens for a fire-safe community.

𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗜. 𝗧𝗲𝗷𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗿, Officer-in-Charge of the Quezon City Procurement Department, and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖. 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶, City Budget Officer of Quezon City. The courtesy visit underscored the QCFD’s commitment to maintaining strong institutional relationships and fostering effective coordination with key offices of the Quezon City Government.

The engagement provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration and promote efficient coordination on matters concerning procurement, budgeting, and other areas of mutual concern in support of the QCFD’s operational requirements and public safety initiatives. The QCFD remains committed to working closely with the Quezon City Government in advancing responsive, transparent, and efficient public service toward a safer and more fire-resilient Quezon City.

The meeting focused on the reiteration of the strict prohibition against recommending or endorsing any fire extinguisher supplier, brand, or service provider in the course of performing fire safety inspection and enforcement duties, in accordance with established policies, rules, and regulations.

During the meeting, 𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗢 emphasized the importance of integrity, honesty, impartiality, and professionalism in the performance of their duties. He stressed that the QCFD strongly condemns and does not condone any illegal, unethical, or unauthorized activities in connection with Fire Safety Inspections, and reminded all Fire Safety Enforcers to uphold the trust and confidence of the public through transparent and accountable service. He further urged personnel to remain committed to serving the people with fairness, efficiency, and dedication, underscoring the guiding principle of “Malinis at Mabilis na Serbisyo.”
