BFP welcomes AFP for Information Program Visit
QUEZON CITY , May 21, 2026 — The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) welcomed the Armed Forces of the Philippines-Financial Management Course (AFP-FMC) Class 37-2026 for an Information Program Visit at the Linsangan Hall, BFP National Headquarters.
The visit focused on sharing operational practices in government finance and comptrollership. FCSUPT Belinda B Ochave, Director for Comptrollership delivered a message addressing the delegation on the importance of resource management.
“In the Bureau of Fire Protection, proper financial management ensures that government resources are used wisely, transparently, and efficiently.” FCSUPT Ochave said. “Every peso allocated to the bureau must contribute to better fire prevention programs, improved emergency response, procurement of equipment, and continuous training of personnel.”
The BFP led informational briefings to explain the bureau’s financial processes. FSINSP Rheacia Faith S Bartolome discussed the Budget Division. FCINSP Sarah Jane T Maslog presented on the Fire Code Revenue Management Division. FINSP Anton Van R Llido and FINSP Rogelio R Pesa covered the Accounting Division and Finance Service.
The program concluded with an open forum to discuss and exchange insights wherein FCSUPT Alven D Valdez, Director for Logistics joined the discussion to address logistical queries of the participants.
