1502nd RRIBDE 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀’ 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗻

In commemoration of National Heroes’ Day, the 1502nd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade, Philippine Army, participated in the 1st Wellness and Family Day Fun Run with Pets held at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center, Quezon City.

Organized by the Philippine Dental Association–Quezon City Chapter, the activity brought together nearly 200 participants, including families and their beloved pets, in a meaningful celebration promoting physical wellness, family bonding, camaraderie, and community participation.

The 1502nd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade, led by its Brigade Commander, 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗢 𝗩. 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗢 𝗜𝗡𝗙 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, actively supported the successful conduct of the event. 𝗠𝗔𝗝 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗬 𝗔. 𝗕𝗨𝗡𝗔𝗢 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗘𝗦), S7/Civil-Military Operations Officer, together with the Brigade team conducted interviews and the rest participated in the fun run and provided augmentation support for security and traffic management throughout the activity.

The participation of the 1502nd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade highlights the Philippine Army Reserve Force’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with civilian organizations and communities while promoting a culture of health, discipline, volunteerism, and active citizenship.

Beyond physical fitness, the activity served as a reminder that honoring our heroes goes beyond remembering their sacrifices. It also means continuing their legacy through service, unity, compassion, and commitment to building stronger and healthier communities.

Health and Family Wellness Day, Fun Run with Pets organized by Philippine Dental Associations Quezon City. This is in celebration of the National Heroes Day where the 1502nd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade was invited to participate, augment the security and act as marshall's during the Fun Run activity. The team was headed by COL ROLANDO V. NOTO INF (GSC) PA, Brigade Commander assisted by MAJ. RICKY A. BUNAO PA (RES), Civil Military Officer.

NCRCOM GRANDSTAND | 30 AUGUST 2026 — The 1502nd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade proudly recognized the exemplary service, dedication, and outstanding accomplishments of its deserving Officers and Enlisted Reservists through the Awarding Ceremony of the Chief of Staff Medal and Ribbon and the Meritorious Achievement Medal.

The ceremony commenced with the arrival of COL NOLI D. BINBINON GSC (ARM) PA, Director, 1302nd Community Defense Center, and Guest of Honor and Speaker. This was followed by the Invocation led by MSg JOSEPH DOBLON PA (RES), Brigade Sergeant Major, and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem.

LTC JASON CAMBA (MNSA) PA (RES) Deputy Brigade Commander delivered the Opening Remarks, setting the tone for an occasion centered on recognizing excellence, commitment, and selfless service.

The citations of the awardees were read by MAJ CHARLES PARALLAG (AGS) PA, Brigade Executive Officer, formally highlighting the exceptional accomplishments and meritorious contributions of the recipients. The medals were subsequently pinned by COL NOLI D. BINBINON, GSC (ARM) PA assisted by COL ROLANDO V. NOTO GSC (INF) PA (RES), Brigade Commander.

In his message, COL NOTO emphasized that recognition is not merely about the medal worn on the uniform, but about the values, sacrifices, discipline, and commitment to duty that the medal represents.

Meanwhile, COL BINBINON underscored the vital role of awards and recognition in sustaining the morale, welfare, esprit de corps, and motivation of personnel. He reminded the troops that every act of dedicated service whether seen or unseen contributes to the strength and readiness of the Philippine Army and the nation.

The ceremony concluded with the mass singing of “Awit Kawal” and “Pilipinas Kong Mahal,” followed by a photo opportunity with the Guest of Honor and Speaker and the awardees.

FORT ANDRES BONIFACIO, TAGUIG CITY | 22 August 2026 — Personnel of the 1502nd QC Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade, led by COL ROLANDO V. NOTO GSC (INF) PA (RES), Brigade Commander, under the guidance of the 1302 Laang Kawal CDC - Quezon(1302nd CDC) through the leadership of COL NOLI D. BINBINON ARM (GSC) PA, CDC Director, actively attended the 1st NCR Reserve Force Leaders’ Forum held at Ricarte Hall, PA Officers Clubhouse, in celebration of the 40th Founding Anniversary of the NCR Regional Community Defense Group (NCRRCDG).

Also present was Retired MAJ GEN RENE GLEN PAJE, Advisor, 1502nd RRIBde, together with key Brigade personnel and representatives and other RRU Advisors.

With the theme “In Defense of the Capital: Reserve Force Mobilization in 21st Century Conflicts,” the forum provided an avenue for Reserve Force leaders and stakeholders to exchange insights on Reserve Force mobilization, national defense, and preparedness for contemporary conflicts and crises.

The activity featured discussions on historical and contemporary conflict experiences, including the "Battle of Manila" and the "Battle of Marawi", as well as humanitarian and logistical considerations during crisis situations.

The attendance of the 1502nd RRIBde reflects its continued commitment to professional development, strengthened coordination, and camaraderie among Reserve Force leaders in support of the Philippine Army’s mission and the defense of the National Capital Region.

In time of disasters, the 1502 RRIBde together with the two (2) battalions of 1302nd Community Defense Center are always ready to augment in search and rescue operations. However. In times of peace, we still continue to do civil military operations like this repacking and production, part of readiness preparedness for response operations.

51ST ENGINEERING BRIGADE, CAMP ATIENZA, LIBIS, QUEZON CITY — A nationwide blood donation activity was conducted on 15 August 2026 in celebration of the 43rd Anniversary of the Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM), bringing together military personnel, law enforcement, rescue forces, and civilian participants in a collective effort to help save lives through voluntary blood donation.

The activity was led by the 1502nd (INTEGRATOR) Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade under the leadership of COL ROLANDO V NOTO INF (GSC) PA (RES), with the guidance and supervision of 1302nd Community Defense Center Director COL NOLI D BINBINON GSC (ARM) PA. Personnel from the 1302nd CDC Alpha Company, Quezon City Police District (QCPD), and CSRFP Inc. rescue forces from Laguna participated in the activity, demonstrating a strong spirit of cooperation and service.
Adding significance to the occasion was the presence of respected veteran news anchor and media personality Ms. Korina Sanchez-Roxas, who joined the activity and helped highlight the importance of extending service beyond military duties and into humanitarian efforts. The blood collection team from the Philippine Red Cross Quezon City Chapter, led by Mr. Jared Bunao, Medical Technologist and team leader facilitated the safe and orderly conduct of the blood donation.

The activity was actively supported by officers, enlisted personnel, and civilians who came forward as voluntary blood donors. Their participation reflected the enduring commitment of the Reserve Force to serve not only as a vital component of the nation's defense, but also as a dependable partner in humanitarian and community-centered initiatives.

As RESCOM, Philippine Army commemorates 43 years of dedicated service, the nationwide blood donation activity stands as a meaningful expression of the Reserve Force's continuing commitment to the Filipino people—proving that service to the nation extends beyond the battlefield and into every opportunity to save and uplift lives.
