In celebration of 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧, the program provides opportunity to childrens aged 𝟏𝟑–𝟏𝟕 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝 with an opportunity to serve as Little Barangay Officials, allowing them to gain firsthand experience in local governance, public service, and community leadership through guided and supervised immersion, consistent with the objectives of Republic Act No. 10742. ✨
Project BAGITO (Batang Angat sa Galing, Integridad, Tapat na Pamumuno, Oportunidad, at Serbisyo) is a leadership and child participation initiative of the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC), Bagong Silangan Children’s Association (BSCA), and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK).⭐️
𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨
– Open to childrens aged 13–17 who reside in Bagong Silangan. Parent/Guardian consent is required.
𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
– An Orientation will be held 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟲 (𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆), 𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠, at 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿, 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹. It will cover the program’s objectives, roles and responsibilities, election procedures, and child safeguarding measures.
Every interested organization in Bagong Silangan must send two (2) representatives who are currently 13–17 years old to participate in the election.
