Look: EPAHP and SLP Strengthen Support to SLPA Cooperative in Tacurong City

The Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) of Innovations Division XII , in partnership with the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), conducted a joint coaching and mentoring activity for the Tacurong City SLPA Consumer Cooperative to enhance its capacity as a supplier under the Walang Gutom Program.

The activity focused on strengthening entrepreneurial skills in business management, product handling, compliance with procurement requirements, and efficient delivery systems. It also highlighted financial management, organizational development, and market linkage to ensure sustainable operations and quality service delivery.

Ngayong World Milk Day, kinikilala natin ang kahalagahan ng masustansyang gatas sa paglaki at pag-unlad ng bawat batang Pilipino.

Sa pamamagitan ng EPAHP Program at sama-samang pagtutulungan ng mga ahensya, LGUs, at local farmers, patuloy nating sinusuportahan ang mas masustansya, mas malusog, at mas matatag na kinabukasan para sa ating mga kabataan.

Tingnan: EPAHP, Pinalalakas ang mga SLPAs sa Lutayan, Sultan Kudarat

Nagsagawa ang Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) program ng Innovations Division XII ng orientation para sa Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs) sa Lutayan upang palawakin ang akses sa merkado at palakasin ang mga community-based organizations. Pinangunahan ito ni Sir Niel Dublin ng DSWD–SLP XII, at Sir Ibrahim Sangcupan ng DSWD-EPAHP, kung saan tinalakay ang Negotiated Procurement-Community Participation at Sagip Saka bilang bahagi ng poverty reduction efforts.

Ipinakilala rin ang Walang Gutom Merchant Application bilang plataporma upang maging partner merchants ang mga SLPA at mapalawak ang kanilang market reach. Dinaluhan ito ng iba’t ibang CBOs mula sa Lutayan, na nagpapakita ng kanilang komitment sa pagpapalago ng kabuhayan.

Ngayong Pride Month, kaisa ang EPAHP sa pagsusulong ng isang lipunang may malasakit, paggalang, at pantay na oportunidad para sa lahat tungo sa isang bansang hindi lamang may sapat na nutrisyon, kundi higit ding inklusibo, makatarungan, at makataong pamayanan para sa bawat Pilipino.

Tingnan: Surallah Banga Farmers Irrigators Association, Nagsilbing Supplier sa Ikalawang Walang Gutom Redemption sa Norala; 208 Benepisyaryo, Nakinabang

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang unang redemption activity sa ilalim ng Walang Gutom Program sa Norala, kung saan naging katuwang ang Surallah Banga Farmers Irrigators Association bilang supplier ng mga food commodities. Ang asosasyon ay isang akreditadong Community-Based Organization (CBO) sa ilalim ng Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program ng Innovations Division XII.

Sa nasabing aktibidad, matagumpay na nakapag-supply ang kooperatiba ng mga kinakailangang pagkain para sa kabuuang 208 benepisyaryo mula sa iba’t ibang barangay sa Norala. Ito ang mahalagang hakbang ng organisasyon sa pagpapakita ng kakayahan nitong suportahan ang lokal na food supply chain.

Sa araw na ito, ating binibigyang-pugay ang ating mga mangingisda, ang isa sa mga katuwang natin sa pagbibigay ng masustansya at sapat na pagkain sa bawat isang Pilipino.

Ang kanilang sipag, tapang, at dedikasyon sa gitna ng hamon ng karagatan ay mahalagang haligi ng seguridad sa pagkain at kabuhayan ng bansa.

Sa ilalim ng EPAHP Program, patuloy ang ating pagsuporta sa mga mangingisda at nasa sektor ng agrikultura sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalakas ng kanilang ugnayan sa pamilihan at pagpapalawak ng oportunidad sa ikaluunlad ng kanilang kabuhayan at ng ating pamayanan

BTFA Opens New Association Office Through DSWD XII-EPAHP Convergence Support

The Blakang Tri People Farmers Association (BTFA) celebrated the blessing and dedication of its newly constructed association office, symbolizing the organization’s unity, perseverance, and growing success through the support of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XII under the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP). The activity was attended by representatives from DSWD XII-EPAHP, local government officials, partner institutions, and members of the association.

During the activity, BTFA expressed its gratitude to DSWD XII-EPAHP for continuously bringing opportunities and hope to their geographically isolated and disadvantaged area (GIDA) through convergence initiatives and sustainable partnerships. Through EPAHP facilitation, the association was linked with LADIFA Cooperative, which helped strengthen their vegetable production and delivery initiatives and opened opportunities for sustainable livelihood and market access.

Income generated from their vegetable deliveries enabled the association to gradually establish their own office and strengthen their organization. Despite challenges in accessibility, ongoing road and infrastructure improvements, as well as improving peace and order in the community, continue to provide residents with renewed confidence and better opportunities for growth and development.

The success of BTFA reflects the true essence of EPAHP’s convergence strategy, where government agencies, local government units, cooperatives, and community organizations work together to address hunger and poverty while empowering vulnerable communities toward sustainable development. Through continued collaboration, communities once considered hard to reach are steadily becoming centers of resilience, productivity, and hope.
