Humanitarian Assistance for Communities Affected by Super Typhoon Uwan

In partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, we delivered much-needed humanitarian assistance to families affected by Super Typhoon Uwan in the municipalities of Baler and Dipaculao in Aurora Province.

πŸ“¦ 1,000 families received food relief packs and hygiene kits to support their immediate needs as they begin their recovery.

Humanitarian Assistance for Affected Communities in Cagayan, Apayao, and Cebu

In partnership with German Doctors, we continue to extend humanitarian support to communities affected by recent disasters in Abulug (Cagayan), Luna (Apayao), Medellin and the City of Talisay (Cebu).

πŸ“ Abulug, Cagayan and Luna, Apayao were heavily affected by Typhoon Nando.
πŸ“ Medellin, Cebu was struck by a Magnitude 6.9 earthquake.
πŸ“ City of Talisay, Cebu experienced the impacts of Typhoon Tino.

πŸ“¦ 1,341 families β€” or more than 5,700 individuals β€” received food relief packs across these affected areas.
🏠 In Luna, Apayao, 11 Indigenous Families were also provided with shelter kit materials to support their recovery and rebuilding.
πŸ’› In Medellin and Daanbantayan in Cebu, MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) activities are ongoing for around 800 individuals to help them process the trauma brought by the recent earthquake.

Together with our partners, we remain committed to supporting communities as they heal, rebuild, and regain their sense of safety and dignity.
