d bikes or “E-bikes” in recognition of, and in response to, the looming problem of “global warming” and in a bid to help alleviate the problem of the high cost of fossil fuels in the country. In 2005, Serrotma gradually shifted to increase its distribution of electric-powered vehicles and eventually establishes Alternative Modern Transport (AMT) by Serrotma, which specializes in designing, manufacturing and distributing world-class electric vehicles such as e-bicycles, e-scooters, carts, commuters and various other customized vehicles for the Philippine market. These alternative energy vehicles were accepted and are now being utilized by a number of local government units (LGU’s) and by many private citizens nationwide. AMT is committed to provide the general public with affordable, comfortable, cost-effective and environmentally-friendly means of transportation. AMT’s mission and vision is to help both the local and national government, as well as the general public, solve the problems of high fuel costs, noise pollution, air pollution and other forms of environmental hazards by providing indigenous and ingenious solutions for Filipinos and hopefully, for the rest of the world. Our first products were electric scooters and bicycles. Then we introduced larger vehicles such as E-Carts(Golf cart size) and E-coaches (E-Jeeps)
