DSWD 12 Pag-Abot Program conducts profiling and reach-out activity in Mโlang, Cotabato Province
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 12 Pag-abot Program conducted a profiling and reach-out activity on August 18, 2026, in Mโlang, Cotabato, in coordination with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) Office, Philippine National Police (PNP), Traffic Management Unit (TMU), and the Barangay Local Government Units (BLGUs) of Poblacion A, Poblacion B, and Bagontapay.
The activity aimed to identify and engage individuals and families in street situations, conduct initial profiling, and determine their needs for appropriate assistance and interventions under the Pag-Abot Program. A total of nine individuals were profiled, comprising two Families in Street Situations (FISS) with five family members and two Individuals in Street Situations (ISS). All nine individuals, composed of five males and four females, expressed willingness to receive assistance.
The profiling results will serve as a basis for further assessment, case management, and provision of appropriate interventions and support services. Through the collaborative efforts of the DSWD, LGU of Mโlang, and other local stakeholders, the activity strengthened efforts to reach vulnerable individuals and families and connect them to programs and services that can help improve their living conditions and promote more sustainable reintegration into the community.
