Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

The staff of the Standards Bureau (SB) and DSWD Field Offices’ Standards Sections, together with the partners from the National Authority for Child Care (NACC) and Regional Alternative Child Care Office (RACCO), engaged in a meaningful Bi-Monthly “Kumustahan” via Google Meet on July 30, 2026 (Thursday).

The agenda of the fourth “Kumustahan” focused on the updates on Executive Order No. 117, provisions of NACC Memorandum Circular No. 03, series of 2024, monitoring of Social Work Agencies (SWAs), institutional arrangements on handling of complaints, and new function transitions of the Standards Sections.

This activity aims to engage participants through an open dialogue to improve regulatory functions, share knowledge and updates on regulatory services, provide technical assistance, and build good relationships among colleagues and partners.

Congratulations to Ms. Ailey Cathy D. De Lumen, Project Development Officer III from the Standards Monitoring and Enforcement Division (SMED), for being awarded as the On-the-Spot Angels in Red Vests for August 3, 2026! She has dedicated four (4) years of exemplary service to the DSWD. 🎉

Serving with "extra love and care,” Ms. De Lumen dedicated her time in providing standards monitoring and enforcement functions to social welfare and development agencies (SWDAs). She also served in the engagement of stakeholders through conduct of various activities to strengthen partnerships.🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Maligayang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa! 🇵🇭✨

Nakikiisa ang Standards Bureau (SB) sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa ngayong Agosto 2026 na may temang, “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Binibigyang-halaga ng temang ito ang papel ng Wikang Filipino at Artificial Intelligence (AI) sa pananaliksik at bilang isang tulay sa pagpapayaman ng impormasyon.

Sama-sama nating ipalaganap ang responsableng paggamit sa Wikang Filipino at AI upang palakasin ang kakayahan ng mga Pilipino!
