The event will feature a powerful reenactment of the Passion of Christ, where participants symbolically "carry the cross" of poverty. This aims to highlight the urgent call for adequate housing, accessible basic services, and the total emancipation from financial obligations for relocated families already struggling in inadequate and substandard off-city sites with limited or no livelihood opportunities.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:
• 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: "Carrying the Cross" amidst the remains of fire-razed homes accompanied by songs, prayers and symbolic actions.
• 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Caridad (charity) initiatives providing food and spiritual support to fire-affected families at the evacuation center.
• 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆:Presentation of the "4 Pillars of Hope" toward a more humane and responsive government (Makataong Pamahalaan).

The Community Architecture Mentorship Program (CAMP) 2026 is not only a space for learning and collaboration—it is also an opportunity for professional growth.

Earn 7.00 CPD Points! This program, with Accreditation No.: ARC-2009-001-2957, is accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) available to licensed architects. Other professionals, as well as government and NGO practitioners, are very much welcome to join.

Organized by the Technical Assistance Movement for People and Environment, Inc. (TAMPEI), UAP Sinlayan Dabaw, and the Department of Architecture - UP Mindanao , CAMP 2026 brings together practitioners, advocates, and communities to advance people-led housing and participatory design.

This program is organized in partnership with Philippine Action for Community-led Shelter Initiatives, Inc., Homeless People Federation Philippines Inc - Mindanao, and LinkBuild, Inc., with support from Asian Coalition for Housing Rights (ACHR), Co-Habitat Network, and Association urbaMonde.

CAMP 2026 is a training series designed to cultivate a Community of Practice (COP) dedicated to advancing collective and community-led housing advocacy across the Philippines. It emphasizes that housing is not merely a physical structure, but a holistic process shaped by environmental, technical, legal, financial, socio-cultural, and institutional dimensions.

Isinagawa ang ikalawang bahagi ng pagpupulong sa pagitan ng Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) at mga Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) bilang pagpapatuloy ng konsultasyon at mas malalim na talakayan sa mga inihain na suhestiyon at programa para sa sektor ng maralita. Matatandaang nagkaroon na ng unang pagpupulong noong ika-27 ng Pebrero, kung saan ibinahagi ang mga mungkahi at rekomendasyon ng mga CSOs.
