Building Safer Communities: 200 Hard Hats for Navotas Young Learners

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — The 11th Civil-Military Operations “Kaugnayan” Battalion, Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army, distributed Two Hundred (200) hard hats to identified Grade 4 pupils of Kapitbahayan Elementary School, Barangay North Bay Boulevard South, Navotas City, in coordination with the Navotas City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (NCDRRMO) and with the support of SOGO Cares Cubao Branch on September 2, 2026.

The activity, coordinated with Mr. Patrick Joshua C. Zacarias, Chief of Operations, NCDRRMO, and OIC Eloisa S. Sanchez, Public School District Supervisor, aimed to promote safety, disaster preparedness, and resilience among young learners. The donated hard hats serve as basic protective equipment to enhance the pupils’ safety and preparedness during emergency and disaster response activities.

The initiative underscores the importance of collaboration among the Philippine Army, local government units, schools, private organizations, and communities in strengthening disaster preparedness and promoting community safety. Through this partnership, the 11CMOBn continues to advance meaningful community engagement toward safer, better-prepared, and more resilient communities.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — Personnel of the 11th Civil-Military Operations Battalion, Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army, through the 3rd Civil-Military Operations Company (3CMOC), joined and assisted in a rice distribution activity at the Barangay Hall of Brgy. Tinajeros, Malabon City, on 01 September 2026, in coordination with the local government. The activity benefited approximately 300–400 residents affected by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), with the 11CMOBn providing manpower, security, and coordination assistance to ensure the orderly, safe, and peaceful distribution of rice.

Beyond providing immediate relief, the activity strengthened the partnership between the Philippine Army and the local government in responding to communities affected by prolonged rainfall. Adding warmth to the gathering, 1LT RONNIE LIANG (AGS) PA rendered a special musical performance that uplifted the spirits of the beneficiaries and brought smiles amid the challenges brought by the Habagat—highlighting that genuine service goes beyond material assistance and is rooted in compassion, encouragement, and hope.

Through community-centered initiatives like this, the 11CMOBn remains steadfast in its commitment to serve the Filipino people, strengthen community partnerships, and stand with affected communities during times of need.

Malabon City — The 11th Civil-Military Operations Battalion, Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army, under the Operational Control of the National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM), AFP, through the 3rd Civil-Military Operations Company (3CMOC), continues to provide Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR), evacuation monitoring, and manpower support to communities affected by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) in Malabon City on August 30, 2026.

Personnel of 3CMOC, in coordination with the Malabon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Malabon Command Center, barangay officials, and other concerned agencies, assisted in the monitoring of affected communities and the distribution of Family Food Packs at designated evacuation centers. As of the latest consolidated monitoring, a total of 642 families or 2,277 individuals were recorded across identified evacuation areas in Malabon City.

The 3CMOC continues to monitor the situation and remains on standby alert for immediate deployment, ensuring that timely assistance and support are provided to affected residents as the effects of the Southwest Monsoon persist. Through sustained coordination and ground support, the 11CMOBn remains committed to serving and assisting Malabon communities during times of crisis.

CAMP AGUINALDO, QUEZON CITY — The 11th Civil-Military Operations Battalion (11CMOBn), Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR), Philippine Army, under the operational control of the National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM), through the 3rd Civil-Military Operations Company, joined partner agencies and civic organizations in the distribution of food packs to 500 beneficiaries at the Baseco Covered Court, Barangay 649, Manila, on August 29, 2026.
The activity brought together personnel from the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, and Philippine National Police, alongside civic and community organizations, highlighting strong inter-agency collaboration and a shared commitment to providing assistance to communities in need.
Through initiatives such as this, the KAUGNAYAN Battalion continues to strengthen partnerships and support humanitarian efforts, reinforcing its commitment to serving communities and embodying the spirit of “Serbisyo at Malasakit para sa Bayan.”

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — Demonstrating rapid response and steadfast service, personnel from the 11th Civil-Military Operations Battalions (11CMOBn, under the Operational Control of National Capital Region Command, AFP, along with our communities extended vital assistance to flood affected communities in Calumpit, Bulacan, on August 25, 2026.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Filipino Women Inventors Society (FWIS) and the Rotary Club of Mapúa Alumni Manila. In partnership with fellow AFP troops, the 11CMOBn assisted in preparing and packaging approximately 500 emergency relief supplies, as well as facilitating hot meal distributions for families affected by flooding caused by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Through proactive Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) operations, these units continue to reinforce their dedication to serving communities in crisis by building strong partnerships with key stakeholders and civilian organizations to deliver timely aid, foster resilience, and ensure long-term community recovery.
