Philippine Cancer Center is the premier hub for excellent cancer care in the country

The Philippine Cancer Center which shall serve as the premier hub for excellent cancer care in the country. This apex center shall be built in the Lung Center of the Philippines Compound in Quezon City with target date of completion in 2025. Regional Cancer centers shall then be formed in the large regional hospitals all over the country with provisions of specialists and the multimodal treatment of cancers.

🌍 PCC Goes Global in AI and Healthcare!

The Philippine Cancer Center (PCC) proudly congratulates Carol Villegas-Narra and Rem Bernard Valentin for successfully completing the Hai Now IntMedEDU International Exchange Programme of the Hainan International Medical Center, in partnership with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.

Selected alongside fellow Filipino delegates, they participated in an intensive series of workshops exploring the powerful intersection of healthcare and artificial intelligence (AI).

Through this international program, they gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in applying AI solutions in healthcare, while also building meaningful connections with global experts and leading institutions in digital medicine.

𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆

On February 3, 2026, the Philippine Cancer Center, in partnership with Philippine Children’s Medical Center, held a meaningful Cancer Awareness activity for children with the theme “Caring Beyond Curing: Paving the Road to Patient-Centered Cancer Care.”

The celebration was filled with fun and heartwarming moments as our little heroes paraded in their superhero costumes, enjoyed storytelling sessions, and shared sweet treats and snacks. The event aimed to bring joy, hope, and encouragement to young patients and their families reminding everyone that cancer care goes beyond medical treatment and embraces emotional and psychosocial support.

In addition to the children’s activities, informative and inspiring sessions were also conducted for parents and guardians. Philippine Children’s Medical Center facilitated discussions on:

• Journey of a Mother with a Child with Cancer
• Child Life Specialists in the Care for Children with Cancer
• Journey of a Cancer Survivor
• Physician’s Role in the Care

Through this collaborative initiative, the Philippine Cancer Center and Philippine Children’s Medical Center continue to demonstrate that caring for children with cancer means supporting not only their treatment, but also their families, their stories, and their journey toward healing.

📢 The Philippine Cancer Center (PCC) invites researchers, clinicians, and policymakers to submit abstracts for the 1st National Cancer Research Forum (NCRF) 2025, happening in November 2025! This milestone event will serve as a premier platform to share innovative research, best practices, and advancements in cancer control, research, and treatment in the Philippines.

🔬 Accepted abstracts will be considered for oral-proffered or poster presentations, with top submissions competing in an online research competition and receiving special awards!
