The Discussion Note for the Security Lounge for National Security Administrators: Advancing the Philippines-Australia Defense Partnership examined the current framework and implementation of the Philippines-Australia Enhanced Defense Cooperation Program, particularly its core areas of cooperation, including maritime security, counterterrorism, training and education, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, and gender, peace and security. The resource material may be used as a reference for defense policy formulation and recommendations on the future development of the defense partnership with Australia and other like-minded states.
